{Emma's POV}
"Hey, Ruby?" Emma yelled from her room. No answer. "Ruby!" She yelled again standing and walking out of her and Regina's room to the other room across the hall.

Because she had no help or guidance throughout high school, college was a nightmare. Business and criminal justice were kicking her ass. Professor Gold wasn't about to help her with business, and she sure as hell wasn't going to Professor Jones for help.

Not only did she need help with Criminal Justice, but her first test was tomorrow, and she had four more chapters to read before sunrise. Emma had already had three Red Bull's even though it was midnight already.

Head buried in her books walking to the opposite side of the room, she reached for the door to ask Ruby a Criminal Justice clarification. Opening the door to Ruby's room, she saw naked Ruby clinging to August, one of Graham's friends, in a provocative position.

"Emma! Get out of here!" Ruby yelled cranking her head to the door.

"Oh my god!" Emma snapped the door shut. "You could at least answer me! Or Jesus Christ put a sock on the door or something!"

"She could always join us," she heard August say in his extra loud whisper voice. Emma almost gagged. Emma then proceeded to hear a slap on skin. "Ow!" He yelled.

"You know she's my best friend, and Graham would kick your ass." She heard Ruby.

Rolling her eyes and walking away, Emma sighed texting Belle. Belle was book smart, especially in business for some odd reason. Professor Gold had taken a liking to her that she couldn't quite comprehend, but she knew it was creepy.

Walking back to her room, she grabbed her headphones. Ruby and August were getting pretty loud next door. She didn't want to have to leave the dorm, but if the headphones didn't work, she would have to pack her homework up and head to Graham's.

Graham was in law school, so he had gone through Criminal Justice. His parents had wanted him to continue the family tradition in law. Graham said he wanted to be a lawyer, but Emma could see right through the lie. It was something she was good at.

Emma reached for her phone. Ruby and August sounded like a freight train.

"Hey, are you at the frat house?" She asked Graham through the phone.

"Yeah, aren't you studying?" Graham asked. He may have been a frat boy, but he was responsible and organized as hell. Emma liked that about him, but something was missing.

"Ruby and August are doin' it and I can't focus, I'm coming over.." Emma hung up the phone not even bothering to wait for a reply.

As Emma trotted out of the building, it was extremely dark and quiet outside. She held herself high. Walking across campus at night would usually be scary for most women, but for Emma it was normal. She grew up with no one to comfort her her entire life; she was tougher than she appeared. That is until someone tapped her shoulder. Emma jumped.

"Oh I'm sorry!" A familiar voice came from behind her, and Emma sighed.

"It's fine don't worry about it, what do you want, Killian?" Emma stopped dead in her tracks crossing her arms.

She was bold to call him that, but then again, he did tell her to.

"Nothing I just saw you walking alone, so I thought I might accompany you to your destination," he smiled proudly.
