The New Guard

The Castle pt.1

Raven's wing's finally healed she smiled, she will need them if she is going to kill the princess of darkness. there will probably be tons of guards all over the castle (well duh of course there would be) Raven walked out of her apartment and flew through a path in the woods right behind her house leading to the castle the royal family lives in. Raven slowed down to a a stop when she reached the edge of the woods, she looked up at the giant castle. Raven Smiled and sat there waiting for the cover of night. Once night time came Raven ran towards the entrance of the castle and pulled out a small dagger and hid in the shadows she snuck up behind two of the guards and knocked them out cold and snuck into the castle. Raven looked down a hallway and saw a nursery at the end of the hall and little giggling sounds coming from inside.

Raven quietly walked towards the door to the nursery and slowly opened the door. to reveal a little girl with medium dirty blonde almost brown hair, and bright red eyes. Raven look at her through the curtains on her crib it was black with thin see through curtains. As  Raven walked closer to her she noticed a pair of wings one was a demon's wing and the other was a angel's. She also noticed what appeared to be tiny black horns coming out of her head. Raven smiled then the tiny child looked at her and started laughing a sweet soft laugh. Raven looked at it confused "what are you laughing about young one?" she asked smiling walking closer the tiny child grabbed her dagger from her belt and played with it Raven took it from her "i don't think so" she said smiling then started singing "come little children~I'll take thee away~" the child looked at her growing tired "into a land of enchantment~come little children the time's come to play here in my garden of sha~a~adows" Raven continued Wicked fell asleep in her crib at that same moment someone was heard talking behind the door "i swear i heard someone singing in wicked's room!" it was a female voice Raven ran towards the window and opened it and ran into a closet casting a spell turning her invisible. A female and a guard walked into the nursery and looked around "i'm telling you i heard something or someone" she said. she was wearing a long black dress and a black metal crown with rubies in bedded within the metal, she also had long blood red hair with black tips and black horns curving out of her head. 'must be her mother' Raven thought, Raven slowly walked out of the closet still invisible the guard looked around clearly sensing  Raven's  presence he growled the woman looked at him clearly knowing what it was. she grabbed the sleeping child and ran out of the room while the guard grabbed his sword it was a black blade with a white handle. Raven sighed in annoyance her cover was blown, a scythe materialized in her hands as the invisibility spell wore off revealing herself in front of the guard. The guard  didn't react "so the melody assassin finally shows himself or should i say she?" Raven growled "how do you even know I am the Melody Assassin?" she asked the guard chuckled "guards instinct" Raven rolled her eyes the guard lunged at her and swung his sword at Raven's throat. Raven dodged his attack and sliced him in half with her death scythe  "i sharpen my blades for a reason" she said to herself and put her scythe in the strap on her back. she walked out of the nursery smiling her eyes slowly turned black raving more and MORE blood.
