chapter 5

Grayson pov:

*next day*

Last night with Naomi was amazing. She was now mine and we'll have a future together if everything goes well.

Today Ethan,Cameron, and I are going to the mountains to practice with our skills plus mom said its going to spend time together as siblings.

At least we could be in the sun. We are not like the older vampires who can't be in the sun and only drink blood, while us newcomers can be like a human we don't have to hide from the sun and we can eat human food we don't need blood all the time just once a month.

"Grayson you ready" Cameron yelled.
"I'm coming"

I grab my Gucci book bag head downstairs and took two water bottles and a couple of granola bars. I put them in my bag and tell Cameron I'll be in the car.

I tell mom and dad bye and head out the door. I see Ethan in the car, passenger seat. I don't mind sitting in the back because I could get some sleep. I didn't get home until one this morning because I followed Naomi home to make sure she was safe.

Cameron comes through the front door and gets inside the car. She puts the key into the ignition and we're off.

Naomi pov:

*beep**beep*beep*

I wake up and it's 8:30. I can't wait to go to the mountains with Melissa. I head to my bathroom and brush my teeth and brush out my hair and put it in a messy bun. I headed downstairs to the kitchen and see my parents making pancakes.

"Good morning" I said in a sleepy voice.
"Someone still not awake" my mom chuckled.
"No, I'm going to the mountains today."
My parents look at each other "Are you going with Grayson"
"No I'm going with Melissa I have to pick her up till 10"
"Her parents should get her a car"my dad said.
"They said they'll get her one for her birthday"
"Whatever you say"

I took a plate and take two pancakes and some syrup. My parents had already ate before I came down they were just making breakfeast for me, so it was just me at the table.

I finish and put my plate in the dish washer. I head upstairs to my room and decide on what to wear. I get a burgundy thrasher t-shirt, black sweatpants and my running sneakers.

I got to my bathroom and take a nice cool shower. I put my hair into a ponytail and put on a bathing suit then got ready. I got my camera case and put it inside my bookbag. I put all the other things that I need into my bookbag. I quickly get one of my sweaters and head downstairs.

I scream from the top of my lungs "I'm going now".
I head out the door and get to my car. I call Melissa and told her that I was leaving now. I got by her place.

"You ready" Melissa said.
"Yea I got to tell you something tho but you might be mad" I said as we drove off.
"Just tell me"
"I got me a boyfriend"
"Who is it" Melissa kept asking.
"Grayson" I said
"I knew it"
"You're not mad"
"No anyways I knew this was going to happen and your mom told me this morning".
"What you mean she told you this morning."
"Your mom called me and told me that you and Grayson were together but she didn't say that you guys were a thing."she said slowly
"They don't know that we're a thing tho but let me ask you this if you saw him would you attack him"
"No he's your boyfriend."
"Thank you"I said

While we were going Melissa started to talk about what would happen if me and Grayson got married and what our kids would look like.

We finally got there and I only saw a couple of cars.

"Not that much people hiking today"I said
"I guess not but we're still going"

We each got our bookbag and got out of the car. We started to follow the trail that led to the water falls.
When we got there we saw two boys cliff jumping and a girl taking pictures of them. Luckily they were finished they didn't look at us or anything. They just got there things and leaved.

Grayson pov:

We see two girls coming toward the cliff. One of them had looked like Naomi. Ethan and I than jumped off the cliff into the water. We got out and got climb back up to get our things.

"Doesn't that look like Naomi?" Ethan said
"Wait that's the famous Naomi with the long brunette hair. If that's her she's really pretty wait scratch that both of them are really pretty."Cameron said
"I don't know if that's Naomi"
"Use your powers to find out you idiot you have more abilities then Ethan and I combine".
"Fine"

I give my things to Cameron and quickly change into a animal, a bird. I change and go back to the place we where at. I see Naomi and her friend Melissa. They were setting up there camera.

Naomi look so cute. I transformed back into a vampire. Melissa turns around and I tell her to be quiet. Melissa runs off to somewhere while Naomi is still setting up the camera.

I stand over her and kiss her cheek. She turn around and look at me "what are you doing here" she said.
"I don't know if you saw but we were the boys cliff jumping"
"Oh" she try to hide her face

I hug her then flew away.
I see Cameron and Ethan. I swoop down and transformed.
"Was it her?" Cameron asked
"Maybe, maybe not let's just go"
Ethan smirks and looks at me "it was her" I read from Ethan mind. I look at him and nodded my head.

Naomi pov:

I just saw Grayson then he transformed into a bird and flew away. It was so sweet of him to do that. Melissa ran out as a wolf screaming "he kissed you,he kissed you."
"Yea" I said

She had a big smile on her face.

"You ready to take pictures"
Melissa nodded.

We started to take pictures. It was almost lunch time so we decided to leave.

We left and I saw the same black bird, Grayson. I got in the car and he followed us. Melissa didn't seem to know.

"Do you want to go to lunch?"Melissa said.
"No I'm not feeling it. Sorry"
"It's okay"

I dropped her home and I saw the bird land in front of my car. Grayson transformed and came in the car.

"You waited for us." I started to say as I drove off
" I waited for you"
"Why?" I asked with shocked
"My parents want to meet you"
"Now like now, now"
"Well not now they have this dinner tonight where all vampires and werewolves are invited and I want you to be my date, plus my parents want to meet you"
"What about your sister and brother?"
"They won't be there each going somewhere different and since I was the only left I got to go to the dinner."
"I would love to come but I have to ask my parents first and I can't be your date cause of the Nymph"
" Your right but your parents already said yes my parents already talked to them to make plans and then tomorrow night I'll be meeting your parents."
"You what?"
"It's okay, I know what's going on through your head but it'll be fine."
"Okay where do you live so I can drop you home" I said

We came to a stop sign I looked at him and he said "you'll know later on tonight" he kissed me on the lips,  and then got out of the car, transformed into a bird and flew off.

Great I thought to myself I'm going to embarrass myself infront of people.
