Chapter 31

"Where were you" he yelled
"I was by Naomi's house to ask her mom if she knew anything"
"And"
"Nothing all she said was that Naomi called her and told her she's leaving and will be back for Christmas"
"Fuckkkkk" Grayson yelled
"So what do we do now"

December 17

(Day after Naomi left)

Ethan pov :

I woke up to a loud slam. I rub my eyes and reach for my phone to see what time it was.

4:12 am.

No one was home expect Grayson and I. I quickly get up from my bed and open my room door. I walk to Grayson's room to see if he heard anything.

When I open his room door there was no one there. I look around to see he went anywhere else. I went downstairs and noticed that his car keys were gone.

I quickly call him.

"Yo bro where are you"
"I went to go and look for Naomi"
"Bro it's like 4 in the morning come back and we can look for her together in the morning"
"No Ethan it's all my fault that she left"
"How do you know that"
"I just know"
"Okay whatever you say bro"

I ended the call and sigh. I went back upstairs to my room and fell asleep.

10:42 am

I later wake up and scroll through my phone. After about 30 mins or so I go shower and brush my teeth. I went downstairs and Grayson's car keys are still missing. I shake my head and go get something to eat.

I then hear the door slammed again.

"Anything"I ask
"Nope"
"Dude it's okay she'll show up when's she ready she's probably just going through something"
"If she is, she would've answer my call and texts she's obviously avoiding me for a reason"
"Grayson just calm down"
"I can't what if something happened to her and it's my fault"

I took a deep breath and walked over to Grayson I then led him to his room and put him to bed. He needed to stop worrying I hate seeing him so stressed.

I go back downstairs and I tried to call Naomi. She answers.

"Hello" she says
"Oh shit, you answered"
"Yea"
"But what's going on why weren't you answering any of our calls. Grayson's really worried about you"
"I'm out of state with a friend, I just needed to clear my head I'll be back soon though just don't tell Grayson I want to talk to him when I get back and not on the phone"
"You know I can't do that he will get mad at me if he finds out that I talked to you"
"Please Ethan I'm begging you"
"Fine" I huff
"Thank you so much" she said while she hung up the phone
What do I do now ? I thought to myself.
Do I tell Grayson ? Or do I lie to him for Naomi ?

Naomi pov :

Gosh I shouldn't have answered the call how about if he tells Grayson and he gets mad at me wait no Naomi you're mad at him he kissed some girl. Aghhh I don't even know what to do ... do I confront him or just let it be ... do I go back and tell someone like mom will she help me or tell me to break up with him ... stressss

December 24

A couple of days passed Ember and I had some fun snowboarding and skiing and what not but now it's time to go home and I don't want to. I honestly don't to like all the stress plus I have to see Grayson that's just bad enough for me aghhh I should give him a chance to explain himself.

It's time to go home now I ask Ember to drive cause I wanted to sit in the back seat and trying to figure out what really happen but my feelings kept getting in the way.

I'm finally home and I see that no one is here so I'm assuming they went by family. I go through my notifications and most of them are of course from Grayson so I text Ethan.

Me : so I'm home now just in case you were wondering

Grayson pov :

I'm currently pacing back and forth Naomi's mom said she'll be back for Christmas but why was she gone ? And Ethan isn't really any help we'll he does he calms me down most of the time I have a panic attack but most of the time he's busy playing fortnite and sleeping. Currently he's sleeping.

I heard a ping and I thought it was from my phone but it was from Ethan's phone.

Naomi: so I'm home now just in case you were wondering

Was he fucking texting her the whole time and didn't tell me? I don't even bother waking him up and storm out the house and drive to Naomi's.

I see her room light is on. I shut my car door and fly up to a tree. Her curtains were tied to to the side and her window was slightly open. While unpacking she kept checking her phone like she was waiting for someone to call her. Was she waiting for Ethan?

I don't know what to do at this point do I wait until she texts me or just go for it.

She picks up the phone and answer a call. It was Ethan cause she put him on speaker . They were talking about me and I don't know how to feel. Why didn't she call me first ? Why didn't she text me ? Why was she ignoring me ? A bunch of questions run through my head.

I went for it. I flew into her room and my heart shattered into pieces.

"I'm going to break up with him" she said to Ethan.

A/n : so idk if I should say I'm back I just had this urge to finish writing but we'll see what happens anyways I hope you guys like the chapter it's been long awaited for and thanks for everything 💕
