V was waiting all day for the others to come home. Half of the day he was sitting on the couch, watching all sorts of stuff on the TV and half of the day, he was following Yoongi around, absorbing everything he could learn as much as possible. Yoongi noticed this and turned to face him when he was at his wits end with the boy.
"Are you bored?" Yoongi said, taking it easy on the boy since he knew that V was not doing it on purpose to annoy him.
"Bored?" V repeated after him, his big eyes peeking through his long bangs, head tilted slightly.
"Fuck. I forgot you can't understand shit." Yoongi mumbled to himself and then sighed before looking back at V. He propped both his hands on his hips, "Since I'm kinda bored too. Let's do something about your bangs."
Yoongi took V to the kitchen and sat him on one of the stools. The boy looked puzzled but he remained quiet as he watched Yoongi walk back and forth from his room to the kitchen. In his arms were stuff that he was seeing for the first time.
"I'm going to trim your hair." Yoongi started, forming scissors with his fingers.
When V only stared at him, he placed a cloth around his shoulders and picked up a comb from the counter. He lowered the stool V was sitting on until it was his eye level. The boy watched in awe as the thing Yoongi was holding went through his hair, aligning his long hair in front of his face.
"Now stay still." Yoongi instructed the still amazed V as he held the scissors carefully closer to V's face, "Don't even dare move or I might cut your eyebrows off too."
V's eyes widened even more as the scissors made a sharp sound as it cut through his strands and his hair fell onto his palms. Yoongi placed a firm hand on top of his head, tilting it a bit wto the right, trimming his hair from the sides and to the back just like what he saw on TV. Yoongi continued to cut his hair until his bangs were in level with his eyebrows.
"There. Now you look.." Yoongi smiled, satisfied with his work. "Swaeg as a turtle."
"We're back!!" Jungkook called from the hallway.
"Hey!" Yoongi barely got all of V's hair into the dustpan when V jumped off of the stool to welcome the two students, sweeping the hair all over the place.
"Hey V." Jungkook said as V beamed at him, "Oh you cut your hair. Nice!"
"Aye, look at how good you look." Jimin said as he dumped his shoes at the shoe closet.
Yoongi peeked from the kitchen, "I cut his hair and he's not even helping me clean up."
V only grinned at the frowning Yoongi. He was too excited to stay and clean up when he saw Haesung coming in. He ran to her and showed her the biggest smile.
"Hi V, how was your day?" I said as soon as I saw his cute smile.
"Great!" V chimed, making Jungkook, Jimin, Yoongi and I were surprised at his sudden improvement. "Oh and do you like my new haircut?"

"Yo, V speaks now. Did you guys know?" Hoseok came in all shocked from V welcoming him home.
"Yeah. Like 3 hours ago." Jungkook replied as he got up to pee.
Namjoon came in with the same expression as Hoseok, "How is V speaking so fluently right now?"
