"I'm so excited for the Halloween party. I'm going as a prisoner of death." Jungkook said, emphasizing the last word in the most dramatic way ever—which is making his voice go two octaves down. No one was really paying that much attention though except for V.
"What's a Halloween party?" V looked puzzled as always. There too many things in this world that he hasn't heard of.
"It's an event where people dress up in scary costumes or as other people. It can be famous people or fictional characters like superheroes, fairies, mermaids.." Jungkook described to V in detail, letting the poor boy's imagination run wild.
"Mermaids? Wow, that's awesome! So that means I can go as a mermaid?" V exclaimed and almost made the food in my throat go down the wrong pipe, ending in me coughing like a madman and Jungkook laughing his ass off.
"Yeah, a merman." Jungkook nodded in response, not knowing that V meant it literally. "That is too common though."
"There are many mermaids?" V gasped in awe, completely forgetting all about his breakfast. "Who are you going as, Jimin?"
"I'm going to be Charlie Chaplin." Jimin bragged.
"What does he do?" V asked at the edge of his seat.
"He does silent comedies." Jimin said, sounding smart while trying to explain how artsy it is and how intelligent of a person he is for having thought of going as a classic like Charlie Chaplin.
"That's boring. He doesn't do anything." V said, quickly turning to me. "And you Haesung?"
"I'm not sure yet." I told him,
"You should go as a villain." Jungkook snickered, "Think about it. You'll save more money because you don't need a costume, you can just go as your usual self."
"Shut your mouth if you don't want to-"
"Don't want to what? What're you gonna do with those tiny fists?" Jungkook laughed. "A mosquito bite?"
"Shut up!" I stood up, making the chair behind me fall back.
"No fighting you two.." Hoseok voiced out before I could even raise my middle finger at my twin. "Jungkook, you should respect your twin sister."
"He's too dumb to know what respect is." I retorted, sticking my tongue out at him while he mocked me by imitating what I said in a high pitched voice.
"I wish I can go to school like Jimin, Jungkook and Haesung so I can join the Halloween party too." V looked melancholic as he pouted his lips out while frowning.
"You can come with us." Jimin said and V's eyes instantly became big and animatedly sparkly. "I suggested to allow outsiders to join the party. I think it'll be more fun than interacting with the same people you see everyday."
"Really? Is this for real??" V exclaimed and began to get all excited when Jimin nodded his head. "Who do I go as? Can I go as a mermaid?"
My eyes widened and I unconsciously banged my palm on the table, "No!"
Everyone looked at me, surprised and confused. V frowned at me while my brother, Hoseok, laughed. "Okay. You sure are passionate about V's costume."
"No, uh, it's because.. I planned to go as a mermaid this year." I said and mentally cursed myself. "We can't have the same concept."
"I think it's cute." Namjoon added with a smile that made his dimples more prominent.
I avoided everyone's suspecting stare. They know me well and they also know that I'm not one to be concerned about someone's halloween costume with this much passion. "What are you guys saying? Pairing is for little kids."
