I finally realized what was happening.
Kiji was kissing me and.... I wasn't.... pulling away.
"Back off!!" I yelled before pushing him roughly. He winced at how hard a pushed him and by accident stepped on the flowers.
"I hate you! I hate you so much! I despise you! Just please...." I began to sob... I kneeled down on my knees and held my head in my hands.
"Leave me alone." I cried out softly.
Without another word, he left. I heard his footsteps, hesitant but decided that he knew I wasn't going to forgive him. Ever.
I felt his lips linger on mine as I heard his footsteps disappear in the rain. My heart beating roughly, I got up and ran to a nearby cafe.
Just the thought about going home reminded me of when Kiji was inside. I just wanted to breath.
"Hi welcome to---" the waiter choked on his words as I looked up with puffy eyes.
He smiled sadly and led me to a small booth. "This is where the heater comes in through, it'll help you dry off." He said nicely as he walked off.
I wanted to thank him, but I don't think words could form with my current state.
I sat there, my head leaning on my arm as I watched the cars pass by the night sky.
"Here." I heard the waiter say before sliding a tall, white and creamy milkshake on the table.
I looked at him confused and he just smiled, "It's on the house."
"Uh---" I was to late he was already back to work. I sighed and glided the milkshake in front of me.
I was playing with the straw before taking a sip and almost tearing up at how good it was.
I took a glance at the cafe and realized nobody was inside, the waiter from before was sweeping the floors.
He looked at me suddenly and we both made eye contact. He smiled and made his way towards me.
"Ya like? My wife always says I need to work on my milkshakes but I know she's just teasing." I chuckled and sighed before taking another sip.
"So... I don't know.... Do you wanna talk about it?" He said suddenly.
He was a complete stranger. He had nothing to do with my life, yet, he wanted to know.
"Well... It all started 6 years ago...."
I told him everything.
He listened to everything that came out of my mouth and the only words that came out afterwards from his mouth were,
"Fuck Kiji."
--One Hour Later--
"Hey... Y/N Im really sorry but we're closing..." I smiled and waved goodbye.
"Thank you so much Rin. I'm sorry i distracted you."
"Are you kidding? You are my second most favourite person to be distracted by!"
I chuckled and said, "Be good to Shiemi." He nodded and waved goodbye while I walked out back int he cold.
Suddenly, my phone rang. It was Jin.
"Hello?"
"Y/N where are you!? Are you ok?? I stopped by your house!! I saw flowers on the ground and I panicked!!"
"It's ok it's ok! I'm fine. I went to a cafe for a bit."
"The one near your house right??"
I replied, "Yeah?"
The phone line cut off. I was so confused but shrugged it off until I saw a car approach me.
The car pulled over beside me and immediately, i saw Jin walk out and slam the car door before pulling my wrist into a warm embrace.
"You made me so worried..."
My mom always told me to not listen to what a stranger has to say... But what if they're right?
