She opens the door with a smile greeting her parents, whom she hasn't seen since they've been hooked on drugs. Her dad, Harry said "we just came to borrow some money, just one last time. Please baby girl. We promise to pay you back" Diana says "Dad you have told me that so many times you would but you never have paid me back, the answer is no!" Her mother , Tina says, while scratching her arms, "See Harry I told you this bitch was good for nothing, I should have aborted her when I had the chance." Diana felt hurt by those words and closed the door in there face, running to her room closing the door crying her eyes out. Why do her parents do that to her she thought. They abandoned her at the age of 14 to fin for herself she had to grow up at the age of 14. Why didn't they love her. Why they leave her out in this world alone. She ended up falling asleep forgetting that Charles was downstairs.
Charles came to check up on her seeing that what he witnessed was hard for him to take in because he can see she has been through a lot and he doesn't want to add on to her problems. So he wanted to come clean about EVERYTHING. So he decided to make her dinner before she woke up and write everything down in a letter before he left because he felt that after what he had to say she wouldn't want to see or talk to him anymore.
