A/N: *secretly wishing more people would read this book because so many people have been whining at me to update and now I have, but people won't get over here and JUST READ IT!!* Ahem. Anyway. To the story, which I think will have some relevance to the Canon show, but it'll be slightly different since our reader exists. TO STORY! AND TELL PEOPLE WHO WANT TO READ THIS SO I FEEL LIKE A GOOD PERSON! PLEASE!

Narrator's POV:
Dipper was pacing around the room, exhausted, racking his brain for answers to impossible questions. "How can I get her back? Could there be some sort of summoning thing, or incantation, or even some other dimension portal thing?!?" He thought. "uuuuuUUUUUAAAAGH! I have nothing! I just don't know what to do..." Dipper laid down on his bed and became lost in thought. Soon, Mabel entered the room, not her usual happy self either, missing you as well. "Hey Dipper, do you wanna take a break, or something from all this thinking? You look tired." "I'd like to Mabel, but I just can't." "Oh. Okay. Maybe in a little while..." Mabel trailed off, but as they were still sitting around, they decided maybe it was a good idea to get up and do something. They walked to the closet and found a huge box full of fireworks! The twins loved them, because who DOESN'T love fireworks, and decided to set them off. Until... "HEY! Are you kids planning to set off illegal fireworks?!" It was Stan. "Without me?" As the three of them climbed up the roof and started to set them off, they were having a great time, doing "Dumb Things Forever!" As Mabel said, anyway. After awhile, they continued their games by throwing water balloons all over the place, and having fun until a red dot appeared on Stan's forehead. He thought it was a ladybug, until many more appeared, and he was tackled to the ground by several government agents, startling the twins.

-YOU GUYS KNOW THE REST OF THIS, SO TIME SKIP TO WHERE MABEL DIDN'T PRESS THE BUTTON THAT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE SAVED US ALL FROM STAN'S "EVIL" PLAN, IN DIPPER'S OPINION ANYWAY.-

Narrator's POV:
"MABEL, ARE YOU CRAZY?!? WE'RE ALL GONNA DI-" Everyone screamed while a blinding white light filled the room, and when everyone came to, a figure, standing among the wreck of the portal came into view. He picked up the journal, while Stan announced that this was his brother, the author of the journals.

-I'M SORRY ANOTHER CRAPPY TIME SKIP I KNOW, SKIP TO PART WHERE STAN AND FORD HAVE TOLD THEM ALL ABOUT THEIR CHILDHOOD-

Narrator's POV:
"Wait, so you've traveled through all these dimensions in space and time?!" Dipper asked. "Well, yes. Hundreds, THOUSANDS, even!" Ford said, rather proudly. "But I don't have time to share now, because I want to get my house back!" "WHAT?! After all these years, and you don't even give me a thank you?! And now you're asking for MY house?!" Stan exclaimed. "It was MY house in the first place! And now you've turned it into some...fake ripoff tourist trap!" Ford yelled back. "Kids, go upstairs!" Stan said, trying to keep his cool around Dipper and Mabel. "You go home, Soos." "Okay, Mr. Pines."

When the twins got up to their room, they had a whole slew of emotions running through their brains. "I think they should just hug it out." Said a pouting Mabel in the corner. "Hug it out! huuUUUG IT OUT! Hug train, coming at ya! Hugapalooza!" "I know, Mabel. But, I can't believe I just met the author of the JOURNALS! EEEEEE!" "Did you just squeal over him, bro bro?" "What?! Uh, no! I just, um, coughed! I was coughing. Ahem." "Riiiiiiight..." The twins sat there for a while longer before Mabel said; "I bet Y/N would've thought Grunkle Ford was cool." Dipper grinned sadly. "Yeah...she probably would. . . ." But when Dipper said that, he seemed to get an idea! "Wait, Mabel." "Yeah?" "If Great Uncle Ford has been throughout so many dimensions, and he's super smart and all, do you think he could help us get Y/N back somehow?!" "Omigosh, OMIGOSH, DIPPER! THAT'S A GREAT IDEA! But I do think we should let him and Grunkle Stan calm down a bit first." "Yeah, I suppose...but maybe a chance will come up where I can ask him sometime!" "I really hope so! But let's try to get some sleep, first, okay Dip Dip?" "Alright. Good night Mabel." "G'night, Dipper."

-THE NEXT MORNING-

Narrator's POV:
The morning started surprisingly normal, as it was Lazy Saturday, so everyone was lying around, doing nothing. But as the day wore on, Ford came up to catch a Cyclops squid thing, and the others were going to watch the season finale of Ducktective, and Dipper needed someone to play D and D and more D with. Eventually, after being turned down for being a nerd, Ford agreed to play. Thus, the two becoming closer. Then, as we all know, the infinity-sided die was rolled, and chaos broke loose, but at the end of the day, when everything was calming down, Dipper asked the question that had been on his mind all day.

"So, uh, Great Uncle Ford?" He said. "Yes, Dipper?" "I was wondering if you would tell me about those other dimensions..." Dipper asked sheepishly. "Oh. You want to know about those? Why?" "N-No reason, just curious! Eheh heh, heh..." "Dipper," Ford said as he got down on one knee, and put his hand on Dipper's shoulder. "You know you can trust me, right?" Ford looked in his eyes with a serious, yet trusting and happy face. "Y-Yes." "Then you can ask me anything, boy." "Um, okay. I was wondering, if there was some way to get someone out of a specific dimension or reality?" Dipper asked, rushed and nervous. Ford looked surprised. "Well that's a very specific question! Why do you want to know?" "Okay, this might sound crazy, but I want to get someone back that Bill took!" "W-What? Bill? Bill Cipher?!" Ford looked more and more shocked at the mention of the triangle's name. "Yes! THE Bill! H-He took her!! And now she's gone, and it wasn't her fault, a-and I want her back so bad!!" Dipper started to tear up, and choked on his words. "H-He took her...she's a-all alone...I need her back..." Ford looked at the boy in brief, and took him into his arms to try and calm him down. "Who, Dipper? Who did Bill take who was so important to you?" "Y-Y/N! She was my-my-" He broke down into tears again before he could finish. Ford let go of the boy and looked into his face, with his tear-stained cheeks. "Dipper, I swear, if Stanley can rebuild the portal, then we sure as HELL can find a way to get your Y/N back!" Ford grinned, making Dipper smile weakly, but helping him regain his confidence as he realized that he might be able to save you. "We will most definitely work on that, but we also have another issue to deal with." Ford said, his tone becoming slightly grave. Dipper looked at him in confusion. "The upcoming apocalypse."
