                                                                            Prologue

I never thought my life could change this much in one night. I remember how painful it was. It felt as if someone took a bucket of lava and poured down my throat. First it was warm then it to hot then it became almost unbearable it washed through out my body, but I couldn't scream for help. All I could do was lay there and hoped I would bleed out or that someone would come along and help me. I only remember one thing before it all happened. The dark figure that had drawn my attention as I left the club where my party was to be held the following night. It was a girl she had to have been about my age or maybe a year or so older. Her flawless cream colored skin that had a faint sun kissed glow to it, Her hair was a chocolate...no coffee brown that seemed to stand out around her heart shaped face. Her eyes were a burgundy red almost the same as rubies. She goaded me in as she led me down a darkened alley to the back entrance of the club.

"Who are you?" I asked her as I walked my onyx black hair hung around my natural almost heart shaped face. My green eyes locked with hers as I titled my head. I waited for a response but only a shrill of a laugh like the sound of a soprano saxophone.

"I'm Angela." She finally replied, her melodic voice made my heart beat faster in my chest as I took a step towards her.

"Are you new in the city?" I asked my voice echoed off the walls as a faint light lit up the alleyway as I stood there in a black leather jacket, a white tee-shirt and black skinny jeans with a pair of black boots.

"No I've been around for a while. I go to your school." She said. I saw her face twitch into a smile as we stood in the faint light. She had an almost hour glass figure. She wore a red and black checkered shirt that hugged her tight and it looked great on her a pair of black skinny jeans that seemed to hug her around her thighs and on her neck sat a rosary that from where I stood was made from a silver and had a ruby crystal in the middle of it.

"So why did you lead me into this alley?" I asked with a bit more seriousness to my voice. Trying not to become distracted by how beautiful she was.

"You're rather handsome." She said before disappearing. I blinked and moments later she stood in front of me. I looked at her and smiled faintly. She took my hand and placed it against her cheek, her skin was abnormally cold. It caused goose bumps to appear along my arms. I nodded slightly at her statement. A faint scent floated off of her. She smelled of Apples and Cinnamon a scent that I had grown to like over the course of my lifetime. "You smell delicious." I paused for a moment and then realized my back was against the wall.

"Thank you." I said with an almost questioning tone lacing my voice. I looked down at her and smiled. I stood at about six foot two inches so she had to be about five foot eight. I felt her pin my arms down then something whet grazed my neck "What are you doing?" I asked. The next thing I knew I felt something like a needle pierce my neck and I began to feel limp my body began to crumple in on it's self as I felt her lips against my neck.

The last words she said to me were, "Welcome to the Night."  I'm Dominic Miller and this is my story
