Kalilas POV

"Are you, Are you, coming to the tree...
Strange things have happened here...

*sigh* when will something exciting happen..." I sang as I strummed the strings on my guitar.

The the soft breeze that moved my hair in a swaying motion stopped suddenly.

"Hm?" I say standing up off the log covered in a soft moss that I had been sitting on for some time now. "The wind speaking to me..."

I watch as the wind brought leaves and feathers towards me... And it spoke to me.

"Go see your her... She misses you" it spoke. It sounded like multiple voices, sweet and in perfect unison.

"Alright! I'm guess I'll go see her" I say laughing as I place my guitar on its case and placed it on my back.

I bound my way through the forest happily, over lakes where swans swam gracefully.

Moments later I came to a stone arch. It was covered in moss and vines which tangled its self in beautiful patterns.

Birds flew past... And a baby chick fell from the air. I catch the little bird gently. It looks at me and chirps in thanks. I smile at it as I help the bird fly again.

"Ha... I should be going to see her" I say watching the little bird follow his family.

I continue through the forest happily... Then I see it.

A world where we sprites live in peace... Well most of the time at least. Unless on the the male sprites eats all the honey!

People walked on bridges between the tree homes and stores. Kids swang on the swings that hang from the lowest branches excited for the day to be continued with more fun.

Other sprites shopped and cooked happily in the store and homes in the trees. So basically... We live in a tree house city.

And surrounding the trees is a waterfall. It's water falls 200 feet into a river that runs from miles around our part of the forest.

One river takes you to the forest animals village, where the animals carers sprites live.

And the other... To the black lake. Rumours have it that anyone who falls in the lake drowns within moment due to the dark magic that consumes the water there. My father was a victim of the place...

But I tend to not worry about it... Dwelling on the past is more dangerous than you would think.

"Hm hm, hm hm, hmm hm hmm" I hum as I walk twords a extremely large tree.

"Oh! If it isn't my favourite grandchild Kalila!" I hear a sweet old woman's voice say as I pushed the trees leaves aside so I may be able to see my grandmother's face.

"Hello Grandma Willow, it great to see you!" I say running over to the trees trunk. A figures outline appeared in the wood of the tree.

It was a elderly woman. My grandmother. She died many years ago when I was younger.

"I'm so glad you came my child... It's about the Legend I told you as a small child every night" she says as I take a seat on the trees branches. As I lay down the leaves made me sit up again... They pushed me up gently.

"Grandma?"

"I had a young girl, from the village. She told me she has a vision. Where the girl from the Legend was you..." Grandma said.

"But grandma! That girl doesn't have magic! It couldn't possibly be me!" I say jumping down from the branches. Grandma Willow shook her head.

"That was never confirmed. A if a vision sprite says it's you... It's you" she sounded happy... But I was scared.

I had never been good at saving things...

"Grandma, what if I only make it worse? It's possible that's what will happen" I say walking over to a wilted flower. Placing my hand slowly on the flower I pour some of my magic in the flower. It almost instantly begin to regain its former beauty.

"Kalila... Everyone in the village trusts you! You have nothing to worry about"

"Ok grandma... I will start planing on how to go about this in the morning. But right now I need to rest" I say heading back towards the edge of the tree and the leaves part on her command.

"Goodnight my child..." She says and I turn back in response...

"Goodnight grandma..." I say as I exit the tree and begin the walk to my home. It wasn't far from the tree. It's just challenging to get to.

As I climb up the stairs alongside the waterfall I think about what my grandmother had said. When I reached the top I took a running start and jumped across a gap of air between my house and the waterfalls edge. It's roughly a 3 meter jump.

After entering my house I saw somethin odd. My house was a mess!

"How did?!" I say running around the corner to my bedroom. A little girl stood there holding a photo frame... It was a photo of my mother and father.

"I...I'm sorry about the mess. My brother doesn't know how to be tidy" she says...

"Your the vision sprite that spoke with my grandmother earlier" I say grabbing some of the clothes that scattered my bedroom floor.
"Yes... And I was looking around for something to confirm that theory... But I didn't find what I was looking for..." She said as she placed the photo frame back on the bedside table.

"What... We're you trying to find?" I say putting my clothes on the bed.

"It was a headlace thing... But it was so unique! I have never seen anything like it!" She says smiling at me.

"Could you describe it for me?"

"Of course! It was a golden chain... With daisys threaded through it. And at one side of the face it had a beautiful charm of gems and diamonds" she Said demonstrating it with her hands.

"I dont have anything like that I'm afraid... But thank you. For trying to make sure it was me..."

"What are you going to do now?" The little girl said as she finished her explanation.

"Clean up the mess, then I'm going to find the human world..."
