She knew she had to get up, but her pure laziness was denying her which quite frankly she didn't mind. Alice was more than comfortable in her blankets, warmth and comfort. But that comfort was quickly taken away when her two best friends jumped right on the top of her cutting her air supply or maybe trying to do that but that wont effect her as she is a werewolf and they both are human. They wont understand nor they need too. Jess a 20 years old blonde girl she met at a party 2 years ago had already landed butt flat on the floor due to her clumsy self and the other was hanging upside down her bed. She couldn't understand why would they try to wake her up on a sunday and that too after a party night. "Oh moon goddess what will i do with these idiots in my life" she murmured to herself barely audible.

"Alice! you better get up now its 6 and you still have not completed your final assignment on that animal" she said making a face. Alice could never understand why did jess hate animals so much. They are so innocent. Alice found all animals innocent. Maybe cause she herself was one so she loved them but sometimes she wondered how could anyone hate them. She always wanted to correct jess regarding hating animals but nothing could work on her. She could now see a live hater in front of her.

"assignment?? Which one is that?" Alice couldn't understand what she was talking about maybe she forgot to tell them that she had already submitted that one. "Alice the one you were talking about yesterday" Jack narrowed his eyes at her.He could not believe that she had forgotten about it. He had to get up at freaking 6 for this drama. He should have never listened to jess.

"yesterday? Guys i was drunk did you really believe what i had said was true?" she giggled at their sweetness and care they showered her with. She got out of her bed to get ready for the day as she knew she won't be getting any more sleep with these two in the room. She choose a dark washed jeans with a white laced button shirt and she rushed into the bathroom before they could ask anymore question "Alice Zack Snow!" jess said in a warning tone.. She loves her full name it sounds so unique to her. She never really used her full name but she did not like the way Alice was joking about being drunk and all she said was just her stupid mind chirping. She had to get up at freaking 6 in the morning and that to for what? Just to waste her time and her precious sleep. And alice dared to giggle about this situation. How did she even dare.

Alice could not contain her emotions anymore and bursted out laughing at her two silly best friends.. She loved them deeply and cared for them more than anyone in her life. Not even her parents can replace them. Whenever she though about her parents her heart hurt a little at their thought. She sometimes wondered whether they missed her the same way she did. She hasn't met them since 6 years. Not once had they came to visit her nor she was allowed to go back home. Yes her original home which is back in America. She knows the reason why her parents had send her off here at a tender age of 16 in australia to her grand parents but she could never understand why did they never had time to give her a call or even face time her. She was the betas daughter and everyone loved her and adored her. She always wished that at least her brothers will call her and tell her how much they miss her and want her back at the pack house. But every time when no one from her pack house wished her on her birthday. She would sit alone and cry her heart out. She miss them terribly. Alice didn't even realise that she was crying.. Her tears mixing with the salty water of her shower.

"honey are you alright?" her grandma said worriedly to alice. She knew her grand daughter very well. She always knows when she is happy when she is sad when she is crying. She knew alice more than she knew herself. She heard the shower turning off "yes grandma i am fine" alice hated to lie to her grandma. She and her grandpa were the only family that she considered she was left with. She stopped considering her parents and brothers family long time ago when she became sure that they were not coming for her.she could not believe she had wasted her two hours sitting in the bathroom crying over people who she doesn't even know if they are alive or dead. "okay sweetie come down your breakfast is ready" her grandma said softly which will be barely audible to humans.

"yes grandma coming" Alice said trying to clear her mind. Every morning is the same routine for her. She loved it this way. "i would suggest u better hurry up young lady or i wont be able to hold back jess from eating your delicious breakfast" she said with a light laugh. How could alice forget that both jess and jack are here. And they must have already planned their revenge on her for waking them up so early. She got dressed in a hurry and ran down the stairs only to be showered in glitter and paint. "what the fu*k" alice shouted at top of her lungs. "language!" her grandma shouted back.

"where are those little evil monsters i am going to kill them!" alice was so angry that she felt as if she was going to shift any time soon. "control alice" her grandma comforted her so that she did not change into her wolf in front of jess and jack. Alice knew she had to control herself. She hated that she gets angry so easily thanks to her beta genes which demand for respect. She can't control that sometimes and she has to get away from the situation before any accident happens. "I'm fine" alice said taking deep breathe. Once she was sure that she was relaxed she made her way to the kitchen in her glitter and paint cover body. She hates paints now and glitters too. She had expected both must be hiding from her after their little stunt but nope she was wrong. They were busy munching her grandma's amazing chocolate mint cookies.

She cleared her throat to get there attention. They both looked up at her with innocent eyes and messy mouth before going back to munching on their cookies. She could not believe they had simply ignored her. She snatched the plate of cookies away from them. Little did she knew that they had been munching on her cookies rather than their own cookies. Alice never shares her cookies never and they knew it. Then she realised that it was a part of their revenge. She sighed "guys i am sorry for troubling you" Alice said playfully with a puppy face. She knew they wont be able to resist that. "Alice come on don't do that"jess said with stuffed mouth. She hated it when Alice would make that puppy face to get her work done or to convince them on something. It annoys her that she adores it secretly. "you will only be forgiven when you take us out for dinner tonight at the new five star hotel that has opened down the street"jack said with a smirk. Jack knew she was loaded and it was no trouble for her to take them at a five star hotel but he loved when all three of them spent time together alone. Away from life and troubles.

"okay fine but this paint and glitter prank was worst then the last time" alice warned them. Last time when alice had eaten both tubs of jess and jack's favourite ice creams. They had mixed yellow die in her shampoo and she had to go to college with dirty yellow colour. She had to wear a hat to hide her head that to during summers. "just go and shower don't take hours"jess still busy munching her cookies. Alice went upstairs and took another long shower to remove all paint and glitter from her hair. After 45 minutes of great hard work and struggle she managed to look decent enough to go back to her breakfast.

"Alice"her grandpa knew he had to tell her. He could not hide this from her anymore. "yes grandpa"alice could sense hesitation in his voice. "your father called"his words froze alice. She could not believe that finally after six years some one from her family had thought about her. Her excitement turned into worry as she saw her grandpa's face. "why?" her grandpa hated to see her like this. He does not want to worry her but it is important. "its time alice"he said softly. "its time for what?"Alice could not understand what he was saying what is it time for? "its time for you to go back home alice" alice could not believe his words. She was angry would be an understatement she was furious at her father. How dare he think that after so many years she will be returning back to them. No way she will go back to her so called home. Alice loved Australia she loves beaches she loves the weather she loves everything about this place and leaving everything here will be one hell of a difficult thing. What about Her friends, her life here. She did not want to leave them. No she was no way going back and no one can convince her to go back to that hell hole which took everything from her. Not even her so called parents.
