It had been about 15 minutes since I last spoke to the teacher. She was still sitting by the computer trying to get it to work. There was no hope. I decided that sitting here doing nothing isn't helping anyone. I made the choice to go out the classroom. I slowly got up and headed towards the door. The whole class' conversations died down, and their gaze fell on me. My teacher looked at the class, followed their eyes, which lead to me.
I reached for the handle and held on to it.
'For years and years, all of you have bullied me. You've all called me a 'pussy' yet none of you are standing up here with me'. I heard a chair move, and a girl came up to me. 'I'm in' she whispered. The teacher walked over to us and decided to come. She closed and locked her classroom door behind her to keep her class safe.We walked down the corridor. Silence fell over us. The only noise was our shoes scraping, and our heavy breathing.
'Miss, Cerys, go down the hall. Check on the other classes. I'll go check out what happened to the power'.
'Be careful' they said, while slowly going down the hallway.
I went through the doors which lead to the staircase. It was pitch black. I fussed around until I found the railing on the side of the stairs, and followed it down.
I was about three quarters of the way down, when I bumped into someone.
'Hello?' I said.'H-Hello' she said shyly.
'Are you lost? Or did you get curious?' I asked.
'I got curious. And nobody else volunteered' she said.
'Same. But I have another student and my teacher with me. I'm James by the way.' I said. 'Come with us?' Asked.
'Sure. And I'm Georgina.' She said, happily.
'You can either catch up with my teacher and the other student, that went down there' I said, pointing. 'Or, you can come with me to sort out the power'.
'I'll stick with you' she said, bravely.
'Thank you. It's nice to have somebody' I said.

We carried on down the stairs, and made our way to reception. As Figured, no one was around.I heard Georgina try the main door, and sighed as it didn't move.
Opposite reception was a corridor full of teachers rooms, like the headteacher, the nurse, and all the other main ones.
I told Georgina to wait in reception in case people decided to come back, or if any other students had the same idea as us. On that note, I crept towards the corridor.
