Chapter 13

Midway felt a stinging pain. She remember when received the pain . That girl of that heretic Kanra defeated her . She can't believe she was beaten . The Queen was going to kill her. She decided not think about. Midway need to wake up . She slowly open her eyes. She first noticed she was looking directly at a brown ceiling. Midway quickly stood up and looks around. She was in room. There room was had white walls with a wooden floor. Midway felt she was on siting comfy . She looks down and saw that she was wearing some kind of hospital clothes. But Midway saw there were chains attached to her arms and legs. Midway try to break them but she was still weak from the fight. "Damn humans". Suddenly a delicious smell enter her her nose. Midway turned to were the smell came . She sees a bowl of ramen on a table with chopsticks. Midway grabbed the bowl and placed it on her lap. She stared at the bowl of ramen . Midway picked up the chopsticks. She picks a piece of noodle with the chopsticks and puts it in her mouth. Everything stood still . Her eyes widened to unbelievable proportions. "SO GOOOOOD!!!!!!".

Hiro and the others were walking in the hallway. They were heading to the room were Midway was . Now Hiro and the others are deciding what to do with her " So what are we going do with Midway?" Ask Hiro . "I don't know"Replies Nagato. "Well maybe we can ask her to join the fleet. She's isn't on exactly on good terms with the Queen"Said Pandora. Hiro raised her eyebrow. "Care to explain". "Well you see Midway did a few major screwed up's. And the last one was the last straw. She failed doing her objectives. When someone failed doing their objectives. Serina kills them" Said Pandora . Akane shudders at the thought. "How can someone be so cruel ?" She said. Pandora shrugged"I don't know ". "Well we need to ch- " ."SO GOOOOOD!!!!!!". "What the heck was that ?!" Yelled Hiro . "It came from the room were Midway is!!" Said Nagato. "Let's check it out !!" Said Akane and runs to the room . "Akane wait!!". The rest followed her . All of them stop at the door . The door was open and inside was Midway who was slurping the bowl of ramen. Midway places the bowl of ramen on her lap . There were bits of noodles on her cheeks and mouth. "Shes looks cute"Whispers Hiro . Suddenly Midway turned to him and glared daggers at them . "I AM NOT CUTE!!!"She yelled and then she's sees Akane and Pandora. "You!?" . Midway lunged at her but was held back by the chains. "Is that how you greet one of your own kind ?"Ask Pandora. Midway glared at her.  "I have nothing to say to you traitor" . Hiro sighed and stepped forward. "Were are not her to argue. I am just wanna cooperate with you?"Said Hiro.  Midway rolled her eyes. "Why should I trust a frail human, his lap dog, a filthy traitor and the daughter of the heretic whore "Said Midway with disgust. Akane had the urge to kill Midway 'I should have kill that bitch . When i had the chance ' . Akane felt someone putting her hand on her shoulder. She looks up and saw Nagato who shakes her head. "Don't let your emotions get a hold of you "Said Nagato. "Fine ". Hiro was trying to get Midway to talk.  "Think about the situation your in.  Your chained by state of the art chains that was specifically designed to hold Abyssals like yourself. Besides that you're on  enemy base filled with shipgirls. Even you escaped and got past the shipgirls and got on the water. You'll still need to get past the fleet that are on patrols . We also stripped you from your armament's. Which makes you utterly defenseless" Said Hiro in a cold tone . Pandora chuckles while Nagato and Akane just watched. "And don't expect to be rescued by the Queen. You failed her . If you went back. She kill you.  Like the others"Said Pandora. Midway looks down. Her hair covered eyes. Midway was starring at the empty bowl . A single tear fell from her pale face.  "What shall I do? I can't go back? What's going to happen to me ?". Hiro and the rest looks at her with a bit of sadness. "Well there's another option you'll could us "Said Nagato. "Why should I join you?" . Hiro sighed. "You'll be given a room to sleep in. We also supply and you get back You're rigging"He said. "You also get a chance to beat up the Queen . I know you hate her "Said Pandora with a smirk.  Midway eyes flash at the thought of Serina.  She wanted to pummel the Queen into a bloody pulp . Midway turned her head to Hiro . "Can I ask a question?" ."Sure ". She turned to Akane. "Why did you save me ?You could have kill me or left for me dead". Akane shrugged"I kinda felt bad but I also dindt wanna kill you . Because you were uncioncess and I dindt wanna kill a defenseless person . I should've kill you or left you for dead but after I heard what the Queen is going to do you . I changed my mind" Said Akane. Midway nodded at her "I'll join ". Hiro nodded"Than welcome to the fleet"He said with a smile. Midway stared at him . "Can you free from the chains. Is kinda of painful". "Oh Nagato". Nagato nodded. She walks to Midway and unlocks them . "Thanks". "No problem"Replies Nagato. Hiro was looking on his phone for a minute and puts back in his pocket. "Nagato can you interdoce Pandora and Midway to the girls. I'll assigned them to their dorms and fleet later . I got a meeting attend. Adios!!! "He said and quickly dashed away . "Admirald!". Nagato clenched her hand and her eyebrow started twitching. "I swear". While the others looks on . "So is that normal?"Said Midway . "I don't know. Akane?"said Pandora. Akane shrugged"Well me neither I've Only been in this base for a few days "She replies

Hiro was walking to a government jet  that was on the base.  He got inside. After Hiro got inside the Jet started speeding down the runway. The jet lift off the runway and started climbing in the air.  Inside Hiro was sitting in seat . Hiro pulls out his phone and reads the message he received

My dear Hiro. I need you in Tokyo now . It's urgent. The reason is because of Akane. After the Abyssal raid in Tokyo. We tried to cover up that Akane was an Abyssal. To avoid conflicts with some of the people in the government and military but to also avoid attention from others nation . But Someone of the media found out about it and the person was outraged. That we harbor a 'monster' . The person released information about Akane on the internet, media and the public. Most people was angry and want us to hand her over . I fear that they experiment on her.  Her friends and grandfather were almost kidnapped. We were able to stop the kidnappers and relocate them to a safehouse. But the Admiralty isn't happy.  I am being pressured here.  Last night I was almost kidnapped. Luckily I had my shotgun when I needed it.  Members of the Admiralty Union just arrived in Tokyo a few hours ago.  With the information you gave me about Midway and Pandora. Things aren't looking good. I try to keep these two a secret. Hiro I know you're part of the Admiralty Union. I known some of these are your friends. But they keep asking me where Akane is and I need to hand her over .I just had a Break because they left after having enough of the Bullshit I keep telling. *sigh* but they be back . Luckily there others who doesn't see Akane as monster but as sign of the end of the war . Akane also became an internet celebrity . I already found tons of artwork, fanfics and drawings of her . Some see her as a hero. Others want peace with the Abyssals to end this bloody war and want to coexist with Abyssal  . The Admiralty Union isn't the only problem we face . There are those who profit from this war and has deep hatred towards Abyssals  . They want the war to continue as long as possible until every last  Abyssal is slaughtered. I and others don't want this to happen .  Millions already perished . It's for those people I fear . They try to do anything to stop a peace between humans and Abyssals.Hiro I hope you have a safe trip and becareful

Ps. You don't need to worry about something happening at Yokosuka . I already informed Nagato about the situation and I also placed Spec Ops just in case

Hiro puts the phone back in his pocket.  "This is getting more complicated by the day . Don't worry mom . I won't hand over Akane and I'll stop this war !"
