After my little "show" Flaggy tried to ask me some questions, but Chato got fed up and made sure he backed off. It's funny, we've known each other for only a little while, but somehow he knows more about me than most people I've known for life do.
Chato and I were talking about past crimes we committed when suddenly I heard a loud growl. "Everyone get down"
Flaggy barked as we all ducked down.
"Jinx" I heard Chato scream. I turned in time to see a huge animal with sharp teeth come at me, I raised my hands and blinded it with a bright star forming in my hands.
Chato ran over to me, fear sketched on his face. "Estás bien bella" he asked me, I never mentioned to him I knew Spanish so he probably doesn't know that I understood what he said. "What" I asked pretending I didn't know what he said as I hid my huge blush.
"Um, I asked if your okay" he said hesitantly, "I'm fine, thanks Chato" I said as he helped me up. "We need to get out of here" I said watching our team getting their asses kicked. I made my eyes glow a bright violet and transported all of us to a empty alley. "Woah, at least warn us when your gonna do that" Dead shot said jokingly.
"JINX, WHAT THE HELL" I heard an enraged Flaggy Bark. "You know a simple thanks would be great" I said rolling my eyes at Flaggy. "We could have made it, we were close to our mission" He yelled in my face, "WE WERE LOSING, WE WERE GOING TO DIE" I yelled back at him, my eyes began to turn pitch black, and my hands started to form shadows. "Flaggy shut up, look at what your doing to Skylar ." Harley said.
"Sky stay clam" Harley said, but not daring to step even a foot closer. Then I felt a warm hand on my shoulder and all of a sudden my eyes went back to violet, and the shadows disappeared from my hands. I turned and saw Chato looking back at me with a understanding face.
I was quiet and then saw a big building, I could hear gunshots go off. "Thats probably a gang hideout, if we jump them we can load up on ammunition." I said calmly ignoring my earlier outburst. I turned, grabbed chatos hand, and began walking to the warehouse.
I then felt Chato interlock his fingers with mine, I looked over with a bright blush on my face and he smiled....
Making me smile even bigger.
