Paige's POV
I shot out of my bed by the sound of screaming. I got up and ran into Quinn's room. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and stroked her head and tried to Calm her "Shhhhhh it's okay Quinn it's okay." I said but she was still still struggling to get out my grip. Brooke ran in just after me and did the same. Quinn woke up shaking still in our grip "You and you and Ray....were...you were. blood! Oh so much blood! She said and we just held her "I brought her tea." Ray said putting down a cup of lemongrass tea. Brooke smiled "Thank you Ray." Brooke smiled as Ray sat down "Its okay Quinn. Can you tell us what happened." Said softly. "You,Brooke, Ray and Calum were brutally killed by one Hunters men." She sobbed and I tightened my grip then pulled back looking at her "Hey,Hey look at me Quinn. We're right here. Nothing has happened to us we're okay we're here." I said and she calmed down. Brooke handed her the tea and she sipped on it. "You guys were there and next minute you were gone." She said.
I walked out her room to the counter and put on the kettle and thought about what Quinn had said.
I ran into my room and put on my shoes and grabbed my keys "I'll be back!" I screamed closing the door. Brooke ran out of apartment stopping at the door "Where you going?!" She asked "To do something I should've done a while ago." I said running out our building in only my pajamas and shoes.
I knocked on his door frantically and he answered it all groggy "Jay? what are you doing here?" Parker said in a husky voice running his hand through his hair. "I'm -sorry but." I said trying to catch my breathe "Parker...I love you." I said looking at him after I finally was breathing alright "You're the only guy that's ever treated me like a person and not a sex toy... and I love you. You make me smile and I can be me around you and you're all I can think about." I said and he smiled softly "Jay." He said taking my hands "You're rambling." He smiled kissing my cheek and I let out a breath "I love you too." He said and that made my heart drop and I smiled smashing my lips into his.
Brooke's POV
Quinn had fallen back asleep so I went to my room and grabbed my phone and saw 5 new voice messages from Luke. So I called him back. "Brooke! Listen I'm-" he started as he picked up his phone "No Luke you listen! You betrayed me and my family! You all did and then you think it's okay to call me all the time! And then out of nowhere tell me that you love me! No Luke! You need to get your priorities straight! And you need to choose if you're working with us or if you're working for Hunter. That's all I've got to say." I said and hung up putting my phone on silent again. I heard our front door shut and peeked outside my door to see who it way "Paige you're home." I smiled as she leaned against the door smiling like an idiot. "What's the point of your face?" I heard Quinn say and I turned around seeing her rub her eyes and Ray looked up at us from the couch. "The point of my face is that...I'm in love with Parker and I told him." She said biting her lip. "You're what!" I brusted "You can't be Paige." Quinn said and Paige's smile faded "But..." she said and Ray looked at her "You can't fall in love with the person you're meant to be distracting Paige. You know what this means." Ray sighed and Paige's eyes was watering up...I hated when this happened. It's only happened once though a year ago. His name was Logan and he treated her so well and she fell for him hard but we were on a mission.
We had to lock her away from any social contact until the mission was over. "P-please don't." She whispered but we had to have stone hearts. "Room now Paige and give me your phone!" I said and she shook her head. "No! Not again!" She screamed at us and Quinn sighed "Paige you know you can't." She said "I promise I won't talk to him anymore! I swear I'll stop everything and I-I'll even avoid him." She said and I looked at the girls "I think that's fair." I said but I knew Paige she wasn't going do do any of that "The mission is done in 3 weeks. Then we leave. She'll never see him again." I said and Quinn looked at me "Alright but if I see you even staring at him." She warned and Paige nodded "Yes Quinn." She said "Alright go to bed all of you." I said rising my eye brows at Ray so she knew I meant her too. "Night everyone." I said closing my door.
