Jaspis Lapidot college fanfic

First day.

Peridot POV

"Beep beep beep" peridot groaned as she turned her alarm off. She wanted to keep sleeping, but knew better. She pulled her blankets off and got dressed. When she was finished she looked at her short self in the mirror nodding in approval at her outfit consisting of black jeans, her grey sweatshirt with a alien on the front and grey sneakers. She looked at her face and saw her messy hair which was for some reason kinda shaped like a triangle which she liked. She put one hand under the faucet and got it wet with cold water, she then quickly matted her hair down so it wasn't in her face. Once she was finished she looked at herself in the mirror one last time. She wasn't really someone who cared that much about how they looked but today was different, today was the first day of collage and she wanted to look okayish. She grabbed her bag which of course had aliens on it and threw her iPad, computer, books and notebooks inside. She grabbed her wallet so she could buy lunch later and put it in her sweatshirt pocket, then grabbed her phone and earbuds throwing them in her ears and clicking shuffle. She looked at her phone and read 7:15 she smiled silently to herself and left her house. Her house was very nice but extremely lonely but she liked it like that. She never knew her father and her mother was always traveling so she had the house to herself. She decided to not get a dorm because she didn't want a roommate and her collage was a 10 minute walk away. She got to school at 7:40 because she stopped to get breakfast on the way there. With a coffee in her hand she walked in only to end up in the library. School started at 8:30 and she wanted to search up some metal parts for robonoids she was making. She sat down on a couch and put her bag next to her and put her coffee on the table next to her, she pulled out her computer and flipped it open and started searching. After a while she looked at her phone and it read 8:27, she closed her computer and finished the last of her coffee before throwing it out. She took her earbuds out and put them in her bag along with her computer. Hearing lots of laughter screaming and footsteps she groaned, she hated being near other people and hoped to get threw the year without being noticed. She stood up and headed to her first class which was math, she was very good at math so this would be easy. She walked in and sat at the back and pulling her phone out, she started scrolling threw her instagram for about two mins before a bunch of students walked in. The first few students that walked in she didn't recognize, but one of them which was a girl who looked at her, smirked then mouthed "nerd." The girl was more than twice her size and had long thick beachy orange blond hair, peridot ignored that and put her phone down and waited for the teacher. She looked around and noticed her only sorta friend Amythest. Amythest was a tiny bit taller than peridot and Had lavender dyed hair. Next to Amythest was pearl. Pearl was tall and had peachy colored hair that sorta went pointy in the back, everyone knew that Amythest had a thing for pearl but pearl never noticed. Peridot looked next to her and saw a empty seat and held her breath hoping no one else came in so she could sit alone. She exhaled as she saw the teacher walk in and announce her name. "Hello everyone! My name is Mrs jackson! I'll be you're math teacher this year!" Mrs jackson was as tall as pearl and had short blond hair.  Mrs jackson pulled out a clipboard and started yelling names while students said "here!" "Amythest!" A few students looked at the lavender haired girl and she said "Yurp" and had her eyes half closed as if she didn't care That the teacher was in the room The teacher rolled her eyes as if she expected that then continued "Pearl!" "Yes ma'am!" She said straitening her back and politely smiling. Amythest muttered something to pearl that sounded like "you're such a teachers pet" pearl then grumbled something then they started a total argument that was almost silent. The teacher didn't notice them so she continued " Jasper!" The girl with the beachy hair responded "yup I'm here" hmm so that's her name..... "Peridot" peridot looked up from her thoughts and said "Present" she heard jasper say "what a nerd" she ignored that and waited as the teacher finished up attendance. She sighed with relief at the fact that she didn't have to sit next to anyone. The teacher started handing out math papers and peridot looked at hers, she internally laughed at the faces everyone but pearl and herself were making. Pearl and her finished the math in a matter of minuets and it was very peacefully and quite. Everyone was working the teacher was siting at her desk and pearl was explaining a question on the paper to Amythest. She then watched the door burst open and a girl stumble in, the girl was tall with dark blue hair and was wearing a black crop top and perfectly fitting light blue jean-shorts. Apparently the class recognized her because they started giggling and putting thumbs up at her. The girl looked at all the attention she was getting and smirked then bowed and said "Hello class! For those of you who don't know me my name is lapis lazuli! I am only here because my parents force me to otherwise I wouldn't be in this place of boringness, I will be sitting.." the girls gaze traveled around the room to the only spot available next to peridot. Peridot already hated this girl, she face palmed herself and tried moving her desk over a little, which didn't do anything. The girl strutted over to the desk passing Amythest and jasper high fiving both of them, "here!" She finished her sentence. The class burst out in laughter as everyone saw Mrs jacksons face. Mrs jacksons face was red and everyone could tell she was mad. "LAZULI! Could you show some respect please!" Everyone snickered and lapis looked around her eyes landed on peridot and she held her hand out for her to shake. Peridot ignored this causing lapis to tap her shoulder, "What?! I'm busy trying to LEARN!" Lapis smiled and said "well I'm just tryna make a few friends! I as you know am lapis so what's you're name?" Peridot continued to ignore her until the end of class. There was a 10 min break before each class so peridot grabbed her bag and went to a concession stand grabbing a bag of chaaps and paying she quickly devoured them and went to her next class which was social studies and writing, she wasn't good at this class so she hoped to get through it quick. Just as she walked in someone tapped her shoulder she turned around recognizing the girl from earlier. "Hiya! Can ya tell me ur name now?" She asked with puppy eyes, "peridot" she muttered "okay then peridork! Let's sit together!" Lapis pulled her to the front sitting them both down next to each other. The class soon filled in and peridot groaned, why her?! WHY come this happened!?! She just wanted to get through the year without attention! She glanced at lapis noticing her beautiful dark blue eyes, Peridot snapped out of her thoughts as she noticed what she was thinking and looked around, next to her was Amythest and pearl arguing again and next to lapis was.. she leaned forward to see who was next to her and recognized jasper! She inwardly growled the sight of the big brute, sitting back in her chair noticing how lapis was laughing while talking to jasper. What history do they have? She looked up from her thoughts as the teacher came in and smiled, "hello class my name is Mrs Bert. Since this is the first day I will let you out of this class early" she said quietly. Mrs Bert had brown hair pulled back into a ponytail, the class mumbled thanks as everyone left leaving peridot and lapis, peridot got up to leave noticing the smiling lapis following right behind her. Once they were in the hallway peridot turned around and made sure no one was around before yelling "ok! WHY are you following me!" She glared at the pretty girl annoyed at the fact that she was following her and that her thoughts always trailed to how she thought lapis was pretty. "I just wanna be friends!!" Lapis said innocently. "I don't need friends" peridot said through grinding her teeth. "Surrrrreee" lapis said sarcastically while rolling her blue eyes. "Peridot let's hang out or something u seem chill" peridot widened her eyes generally surprised but declined. "Leave me alone" she just wanted to get threw the year with good grades and no friends. She started walking to the library aware of the steps following behind her, once she got to the library she sat down on  a couch and accepting defeat patted the spot next to her so that lapis could sit next to her. The pretty blue haired girl happily sat down next to the smaller one quick to ask questions "soooo peridork.... where is your dorm?" Peridot growled at the name lapis gave her, "first of all my name is periDOT and I convinced the school to let me live in my house 10 minutes away"

Lapis's POV

Lapis watched the cute small nerd next to her, seeing her red face wondering if she wanted to hang out later.. she mine as well ask again" hey peridot you don't live far right? We should hang out!" She watched as the girls face got even redder and the girl stuttered "su-sure.." lapis smiled at the fact that the girl could get so embarrassed so easily but then watching the girls surprised face harden and look a tiny bit angry, "I can't! I have to work later today just leave me alone" lapis watched the cute nerd walk away surprised at the sudden outburst the small girl gave her. She smirked knowing she wasn't gonna give up yet, she walked towards her locker hoping to find one of her friends jasper. Sure enough she did, Jasper was leaning against her own locker with three of her friends carnelian and the gay couple ruby and sapphire. As she walked up to them Jasper's face lightened as she grinned, "well well lapis are you done chasing that nerd?" Lapis rolled her eyes as she leaned against her own locker watching ruby put her arms around sapphires waist from the back. She watched sapphire start giggling and her long light blue hair which covered her eyes sway, Ruby's hair was dyed a dark red and had its trademark  blackish-reddish bandanna around it. Ruby and sapphire where the shortest kids in the school but where by far some of the most popular people on the school. She silently laughed as she read ruby and sapphires matching shirts that said "can't think straight". Jasper leaned over and put her hand under lapis's chin so that she could make her look at Jasper, "how are you? You barely talk to me anymore!" Jasper said it sorta sarcastically and sorta serious Lapis laughed at her and said "we talked earlier in class and I slept at you're place yesterday! Looks like you're still head over heels for me huh?" Jasper grinned at this replying "you know I am" Jasper leaned over kissing lapis on the lips, lapis was used up this knowing it didn't really mean anything because Jasper literally kissed any gay girl she could get her hands on besides sapphire of course. Lapis Also knew that she was Jasper's favorite person to kiss but didn't really care. She had dated other girls before and Jasper had been okay with it. Lapis started kissing back for a few minutes used to the taste of Jasper's mouth, before hearing a click both of them stopped and looked up to see carnelian with her phone up and a enormous ass eating grin on her face, she started laughing as carnelian ran away with Jasper chasing after her. Lapis checked her Phone seeing that she should probably start heading to the next class.
