You were there

I've been beaten down.

I've been kicked around.

No one cared till you came to be known.

I've survived it all, the punches, the verbal, emotional, physical abuse, yet when I thought I was down for good.

I got back up the hand you showed me proved me wrong.

I was finally found.

I was broken beyond repair then it turned completely around.

I was up on a higher ground.

My life has been rough to the point I couldn't get my vision straight or hear a sound.

What I would I do without you by my side.

I never knew that I wasn't alone.

No one cared no one showed me love or kindness.

You were always there.

I will always know now that I will always have someone care for me and love me for me no matter what is happening.
