Ashley's POV
I woke up to the sound of a camera clicking, my body slightly sore from sleeping I an unusual position I rose my hands to my eyes rubbing them slightly.
I felt warm arms around my waist and hot breaths going down my neck. I blinking my eyes in confusion until I looked over at the tv still on and Chandlers shoes were on the floor.
Chandler was holding onto me. It felt, comfortable, like this is how we were meant to be.
No, I couldn't think like this. My boy-ex boyfriend is leaving today and we only just broke up yesterday.
I look up to where I assume the camera click came from to see Andy standing there with his phone out. His eyes widen when he sees me start to shift in my resting position, and he runs back upstairs.
I chuckle lightly, shaking my head. I go to get up when Chandlers strong arms subconsciously bring me back down and closer to his body.
Feeling slightly awkward I try to shove his shoulder to wake him up. "Chandler...Chandler!" I whisper shaking him.
"What?" He looks up, tired and his hair is a giant mess flying up all over the place. His eyebrows are raised and he looks around the place. He then looks to where his arms are and quickly retreats them his cheeks flushing with a deep red. "Sorry..." he mumbles.
"It's alright, I'm going to get dressed" I say. He mumbles something inaudible before pulling a pillow back over his head and falling back asleep.
It's 12:38 according to my clock. I put on a peace sign tank top with some jean shorts, and I brush my hair down so it's flat. I go outside the door grabbing my phone on the way and head to the one place I know Zack will go before he leaves.
Sure enough as I round the corner I see the boy who I once fell in love with sitting on one of the two swing sets wearing a grey shirt and cargo shorts. As I near him he turns to me a sad smile upon his lips. I sit down on the swing next to him and return the sad smile.
"So this is it...huh?" I look to him our eyes meeting.
"Yeah, were leaving in about an hour. I just wanted to spend some of that time at our favorite place," he sighs "remembering all of the good times" he smiles over at me.
"Like that time you tried to give me flowers and there were bees inside of them" I say laughing at the memory. He laughs at me pointing towards me "Or that time you tried to skateboard and didn't make it two feet before falling on your butt" he says.
"Oh shush. Not everyone can be as great as you are"I lightly punch his arm.
We stare at each other for awhile until our peace is interrupted by a phone call. Zack sighs before pulling his phone out and answering "Now? Uh okay, yea...see you soon" he says quickly rolling his eyes.
"I have to go now" he states looking down to the grass. Sadness courses through my body because he was my first love, and my one of my best friends.
This time he pulls me into a tight hug, lifting me off the ground and spinning around once before letting me down. "I'll miss you, but Goodbye Ashley" he says, this time without 'I love you' at the end.
"Goodbye Zack" I say waving to him as he walks out of the playground and into the neighborhood. Disappearing into a car and out of sight forever.
My shoulders slump and I waltz back into the house I previously was in an hour ago going up to Andy's room seeing Chandler still asleep on the couch.
I open his door not bothering to knock and plop down on the empty bed because he was at his desk. "Andy? What did you do with that picture you took this morning?" I ask him.
He turns in his chair raising his reading glasses above his curly hair. Taking a breath before talking he smiles "Oh nothing..."
"I want to watch tv until I die, goodbye" I say walking out of the room, now bored going back downstairs.
I sit in the remaining open cushion on the couch grabbing the remote and turning back on the show we were watching last night. Grabbing the remaining cookies I snack on them until Andy comes down to make dinner.
"Did I sleep through the whole day?" Chandlers groggy voice says awakening from deep sleep.
I tilt my head a bit "The day isn't over yet" I say sarcastically laughing.
"Oh shut up, my parents are probably worried. Where did my phone go?" He says searching the couch, and patting his pockets. He reaches down in the side of the couch finding his phone before stepping outside and calling his mom.
Chandler left not long after that saying he had some things to do, and unfinished business to attend. Also not mentioning our small encounter this morning, either not remembering it or ignoring it.
I know he has a girlfriend and I recently lost my boyfriend to his moms job, but damn the way he moved. I guess I just didn't notice before how hot he was. Perfect symmetrical facial features, and long hair with curls on the ends that was very soft. His clothing style, I never noticed that he was everything a girl could want.
All those encounters we had when he glared at Zack and I, even when we were out on double dates. Could I be crazy to think he liked me too? It's too soon to get into another relationship, and besides he was still with Brianna as far as I knew.
I heard the door knock, so I went to go open it "I got it!" I shouted to Andy in the kitchen who nodded at me.
When I went to open the door I was in complete shock and I didn't know what to think, someone who seemed very familiar looked up to me.
