The next day I put $40 in Liam's mail box with a note that said "here's for last night, thank you again for coming! I had fun!". Of course when I was closing the mailbox he caught me. "Allison what r u doing in my mail"? "Uhh... you'll see" I started walking away and he went over to the mailbox. He saw what I left him and started running towards me saying "I'm not taking this"! So I ran home but he caught me and wrapped his arms around me so I could go no where. "I'm not letting you go till you take the money back". Struggling to get out I said "it's not my money, it's yours now". He finally released me and said fine I'll take it, and started walking away. Little did I know when I was struggling he slide the money into my sweatshirt pocket.
That night I texted him "why didn't you take the money". He replied later, "I don't need the money, keep it! It was my treat to you guys for becoming my friends". I was in awe, "you don't need to buy us dinner just to thank us for becoming your friend, a simple thank you would have been good enough for me 😂" . He replied, "oh well, you can buy the next dinner if you want and I won't get in your way 😂". "Thank you for the dinner, goodnight ttyl". "Goodnight Allison".
That night I knew you were a good friend and I still like you even though I know how it's going to turn out in the end. Sadly your acts of kindness just makes me fall harder, ugh why are you a perfect guy. If only we weren't friends and you liked me how I like you... but that will never happen.
