Hey people, Emma here! Just to recap if you forgot anything, I have recently been attacked by 5 "dracanae" as my friend Marco calls them and lost my big softball game. Now I will be getting more info about my current situation because I don't want to die. Apparently that's a possibility. Great.

"Okay fine," said Marco. "So to start, you're a demigod which means that you are half god and half mortal. Another word for your kind is half-bloods. Those monsters were attacking you because you're a demigod. There is only one safe place for kids like you and that's the camp I mentioned earlier, Camp Half-Blood. Are you good so far?" he asked.
"Is this some kind of bootcamp?" I replied.
"Not really." Marco responded. "But you do learn how to fight, play capture the flag, swim in the lake, have campfire sing alongs, climb the lava wall..."
"LAVA WALL?!?" I screamed. "How is that possibly safe?!?"
"Relax Em." Marco said calmly. "The most dangerous thing there is the Ares cabin. Whatever you do, don't get on their bad side. Their dad is the god of war, so they tend to be kinda violent."
     "Fair enough." I replied.
"Anyway, I can give you the details later, but we kind of need to leave for camp right now, so we should probably find your dad and go." Marco said. My dad. I had forgotten all about him. How was I possibly going to explain all of this? Especially the fact that I have to leave to go to some not-boot camp for who knows how long. Ever since mom left right after I was born, he's always put a huge emphasis on family. He would not want us to be torn apart, especially if I was in danger. "Alright" I said. "Let's go."

Okay! Waaaaaaaayy shorter than the last chapter and this one probably sucks to, but that's okay. They're almost to camp where I have big plans for Emma! *rubs hands together and laughs like an evil mastermind even though I'm not an evil mastermind and what happens isn't that bad compared to the real PJO books. Vote, comment, tell me what I'm doing wrong, etc.!
