Chapter 5

I pull out of his arms wipe my face with my hands and look at his face I see that he too has tear streaks on his face with a red nose.
"I miss this, getting to hold you and talk to you and just see you in general why did you ignore me and then tell me those things?" He asks confusion and worry etched into his face making his eyes crinkle.

I get up shaking my head and brush my self off as he does the same then stand there awkwardly him wanting an answer and me refusing to.
"I need that box in the next few days to go through, are you still at the same place?" I ask blankly andnhe just stares at me intently for awhile before nodding.
"Good Dan and I will be over tomorrow night I have to go now" I say and turn to walk off when he grabs my wrist
"Will you be okay?" He asks me as I just stare ahead "I will be fine" I monotonously answer and try to tug my arm away with no such luck I forgot how much stronger he is.

"No your not fine Liam, please just let me help you please" he says trying to get me to look at him I hiss and glare at him
"I dont need you to psychoanalyze me I just need my box and then I can get out of your life and I wont have to see you besides in court when I need you to testify" I reply and yank with all my strength and get my arm back and stalk off as fast as possible without running calling Dan to come pick me up as I hung up I notice a message telling me I need to work to fill in for someone who is sick... great.

Crashing into bed after washing up after taking that double shift a total whopping 14hrs or more because another person called out sick just asni was supposed to be signing out of that first shift, I glance at the clock and sigh its 5am I should try to get some sleep before heading to Christof's tonight which takes me back to when Dan picked me up.

(When he got picked up)

I quickly jumped into Dans car and buckled up as he pulls away and see Christof running towards the car in the corner of my eyes.
"Is that Christof running after you?" He asks me with amusement and I just glare out the window ignoring him.
"You should give him a chance he really likes you" he says and I scoff at him and jump out of the car when we get to the hospital and lean my head back in
"The one time I had the courage to do anything it turns out he was drunk and called out someone else's name during sex!! So no he likes me as a friend but it was too painful to be his friend when I love him" I say and storm away from Dan' s shocked frozen face.

I sigh thinking back to my admission, this is going to cause problems, I roll over and close my eyes exhausted falling into a deep sleep.
