Daniels POV

Life seems unfair since her disappearance. My fathers deaths dead line is today if we don't find my mate by twelve midnight my father will die. Being the strongest yet the youngest among all his sons I am mounted king temporarily, and permanently after his death. My father Victor Thornton the king of Kerma. Our kingdom was only known to the supernaturals.

My family are vampires and are the head of this supernatural kingdom on earth. which consists of mostly vampires and a few other supernaturals. Sitting beside my father holding his hand." I am sorry father. I failed you. I could not save you nor find Nicolas and Alex is slowly loosing it. I am so sorry father I let you down." I said lowering my head in shame.

"your majesty you have a visitor." the guard outside my fathers room announced.
"tell whoever it is i am busy." I said sternly.
"I don't think he can do that Daniel." a familiar feminine voice said from behind me. Sarah Marshall, Nicola's soul mate. And also Alex's best friend. But I don't like her I never did.
"it's your majesty to you Sarah. Remember I am your king."

I said irritated by her presence.
"why do you sound so happy? Have you found your mate yet? Or my mate? Let's not forget the witch that is cloaking our mates." I asked rubbing salt into her wounds. All of a sudden she paled. Her blood running cold. I don't care how she feels.
"well? At least you would have made some progress right?" i said bitterly the tone of my voice making her flinch. She remained quiet and that made me very angry.

"i am your king sarah. And i demand you answer every one of my questions. Did you find the human girl at least that should be easy right? I find your incompetence very annoying." i yelled at her.

"i-i am s-sorry" was all this girl could manage to shutter.
"my father is on his death bed why the fuck can't you tell me where to find her?! " i shouted at her. Taking a few Steps forward while raising my left eyebrow.
"you claim to be the most powerful yet, you can't find a mere human?! "

She stood frozen on the spot. Her heart beat So loud. She was petrified.
" S-sh-she i-i-is anything b-but h-hu-human y-yo-your highness." She stuttered.
I do not believe it. it is Impossible. I am the closest to her I remember everything thing about her, her golden brown skin that glows each time the sun kisses her skin, those dark chocolate brown eyes, her curly long golden hair almost reaching her waist,her plump pinkish-red lips,her.........

fuck stop thinking about her she poisoned your father and almost murdered your brother. I mentally scolded my self.
Not to mention Nicolas being kidnapped.

"really now? Care to explain sarah. Tell me if she not human then what is she exactly?" I inquired.
"She is a succubus your Majesty." She said.

A sex demon? On earth? impossible.
"That's impossible." I hissed
"Not impossible extremely rear your majesty" she said with knowledge twinkling in her eyes.
She paused waiting for me to show some interest which I didn't. Despite my lack of interest on the topic of discussion, she proceeded with her explanation.

"somebody summoned her to earth and planted her on you your majesty. "
It makes sense now. I was physically attracted to her only when she touched me. And i always found her annoying outside our bedroom.

"so you are saying that someone planted the succubus on me to get information about the palace and my father? " I asked.
"yes your majesty and I know who that someone is and I know where you find the succubus."
Strange all of a sudden she knows where to find them.
"and how did you come about this information?" i asked her. Judging my her reaction she wasn't expecting to asked her that.
"i have my sources your majesty."

She said coolly. I wanted to push further but it was 10pm. Our time was limited. I didn't want to waste anymore time arguing with sarah.
"take me to Eris we need the cure for my father. I will deal with the witch later." I commanded.
"like I said a succubus can only come to earth if summoned." sarah reminded me.

"then take me to the witch I will make her summon the Sex demon. " I said
"follow me your majesty." she said with a bow. That looked like she was mocking me. But I let it slide because am not in the mood.
