Chapter 1: Liam, The Notebook, and Nando's

 ~Chanel’s POV~

“COUSIN! COUSIN! WAKE UP!” Somebody screamed, jumping on top of me. Louis, I thought. I opened my eyes, seeing Louis smiling.

“Dude, what time is it?” I asked, my voice tired.

“It’s twelve! You need to get up, because my mates will be here soon!” he replied, still sitting on top of me.

“Fine,” I sighed. “Now get off me, fatty!” I pushed my cousin and he fell off the bed with a thump.

He screamed and started to fake cry as he sat up. “Ow! That hurt, that really hurt!”

I laughed and shook my head, standing up from my bed. “Okay, I have to get ready, so you need to go,” I held out my hand and he grabbed. After pulling Louis up, he left my room and I started to get ready.

After showering, I got dressed, brushed my teeth, did my hair, and put on just a little bit of makeup.

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. After making my cereal, I sat down at the table and started to eat. A little later, Louis walked in.

“Hello, cousin. I see you’re enjoying your breakfast,” he said, sitting down in front of me. I gave him a weird look, taking a bite of my cereal.

“Yeah, sure.” Food came flying out of my mouth, hitting Louis in the face.

“EW!” He exclaimed and I burst out laughing. My cousin quickly jumped up and got a paper towel. He started wiping his face as he sat at the counter.

Once I caught my breath, I looked at him, a smile still on my face. “Aw, I’m sorry. Now come sit with me,” I said, taking another bite of my breakfast.

“There is no way in hell I’m sitting with you. You’ve been so mean to me this morning,” Louis pouted and I rolled my eyes. “Karma’s going to get you… bad!” He ran out of the kitchen, and I couldn’t help but laugh.

When I finished my breakfast, I started making my way up the stairs. The doorbell rung, and Louis sprung out of his room. He ran passed me, causing me to lose my balance. I quickly caught myself with the railing of the stairs. “Woah,” I said.

Louis looked back at me and smirked. “Sorry,” I glared at him and he opened the door, revealing his friends.

They all said their hello’s and walked inside. Louis’ friend, Niall, looked at me. “Is this your cousin?” He asked, taking a quick glance at Louis.

“Oh, yeah! Guys, this is my cousin Chanel-”

“CJ,” I interrupted Louis, causing him to roll his eyes.

“This is my cousin CJ. CJ, these are my best mates.”

“Hi, it’s nice to meet you guys.” I smiled a friendly smile, and they smiled back. I looked over at Liam, and he winked at me.

“Okay, now that that’s over with, how about we watch a movie?” Louis said, looking around at all of us. We all shrugged and made our way to the living room.

“Alright, what movie?” I asked, walking over to the rack of DVD’s.

“The Notebook!” Harry shouted.

Smiling, I look over and point at him. “YES! That’s one of my all time favorite movies.” Harry smiled and all the guys groaned… except for Liam.

“Come on, that movie is so girly,” Zayn said, plopping down on the couch.

“Yeah! Harry, you’re a wiener,” Louis said, causing Harry and I to look at him oddly.
