I sped through the building to two giant doors with guards posted beside it. They were wearing iron armor, and holding giant, special spears. They looked at me as I stopped in front of them, panting from my hard run.
"Yes?" One of the guards asked.
Catching my breath, I looked up at the one and stood straight. "Hello. I would like to go through the Gates."
He raised an eyebrow, seemingly new. "Rank?"
"Wait." The other guard suddenly intercepted, walking over to the new one and whispering something to him. His eyes widened and he looked at me nervously.
"Princess! I am sorry! I did not recognize you," He said, getting down on one knee and staring at the polished white floors.
"You are forgiven. But please, I need to go through the Gates," I responded.
The guard got up and they both nodded before turning to the door. The lifted their spears and inserted them into the slots in the giant door.
The older guard looked at me and said softly, "Does your father know you are doing this?"
"Yes, but of course he opposed. You know he does not let royalty outside the castle," I told him as the doors slowly opened in front of me, the guards stepping out of the way.
"So do you," The older said.
"Indeed. But I have had enough of my parents' crap about me being treated different from the others and not letting me out of this- forgive my language- Demon-spawns' hell," I replied.
"Princess Silvia!"
"Oh no..." I muttered as I snapped my head around at the sound of my name to see my best friend and personal guard, Tychiath, running towards me.
I turned my head back around and took off through the door, my long blond hair flying behind me. I spread my wings and flapped them strongly, shooting up into the air. Floating, I quickly looked around, trying to find the edge. Finally, I found it; a giant grassy cliff, and sped to it. If you looked down you could see the blur of the town's houses and buildings.
Landing, I walked over to the edge and closed my eyes, feeling the wind rush past me. I heard someone jump to the ground behind me and I turned around, knowing it was Tychiath.
"Princess, what are you doing?" He asked, his soft voice full of worried care.
"I'm leaving," I replied, stepping back so I was on the precipice.
"But if you do this, everyone will miss you!" He said, taking a step towards me. "I'll miss you..." He mumbled.
"Then come with me. Everyone here will miss my rank and figure, not... me," I said quietly, turning back to the space's endless night sky.
Then it was quiet, letting my thoughts wander. There were stories about Angels who left Beliath and became Fallen Angels. The stories said that one of the first feathers on their left wing would have markings on it, with a scarred feather tattoo on their left shoulder as well. And when they finally reach earth, their wings disappear and only come back for different reasons. They say that those things stay there for the rest of their life, even if their able to come back to Beliath and get their wings again. Obviously, this is the most common rumor that you could hear on the streets.
There are also Dark Angels, also known as Angels Of Darkness, are ones who kill. The feathers on their wings are completely black. All one needs to do to become a Dark Angel is kill someone. Rumors say that they can't get hurt by Demons, and are rejected to Liph.
There's also a version of an Angel who are Satan's Angles. A normal Angel could become Satan's Angel by making a deal with Satan. And another way is for a Demon to make a deal with Satan to become an Angel. This type of Angel also has all black wings, but also a small, black skull tattoo on their right shoulder.
And then there are the Broken Angels, ones who have been tortured and had their hearts shattered to pieces. Some say they are tortured souls, ones who seek a meaning in their life. These Angels are very rare, thankfully. The bottom portion of their wings are either a black or have a black pattern.
Suddenly, I felt someone grab my hand, making me look at it to see a hand in mine. I followed the arm with my eyes to Tychiath's smiling face.
"I'll always come with you," He told me softly.
I smiled back, tears tugging at my eyes, as I wrapped him in a hug, careful not to fall off the edge.
"Is this really what you want to do?" He whispered in my ear.
"Y-yes..." I muttered.
I broke the hug, feeling the first tear fall. Turning to face the town, Beliath, I closed my eyes and leaned back. I felt myself fall and let my wings go limp; I wasn't planning on flying back up.
I knew I would become a Fallen Angel. I didn't care. Anything to just get some peace. Some time for myself. Some time for fun.
Opening my eyes I saw Beliath far above me. Looking around in the darkly colorful space, I saw Tych falling next to me.
Then, black dots started to swim around my vision as we kept falling, until I blacked out.

When I came to I was lying under the covers of a bed with a pain in my back and left shoulder.

I made a cover for this one, but I don't have the picture anymore so I can add it. I also wrote this one a few years ago so thus story's outdated anyway.
