Keiko Elizabeth Harman

I sleep by morning

And lie awake by night

Always more energy when the moon is up

And the sun down

People tell me my violet eyes glow

Under a full moon

And slightly brighten

In a dark room

My sister Joy is jealous

Of my 'long, silvery hair'

As she puts it

Even though she has the same color

Eating my mother's

Homemade lasagna is heavenly

And my father listens to my words

My midnight blue room

Where all my secrets lie

Where all my memories lie

Where I lie

My mind flows onto paper

Then into my guitar and voice

Writing the notes

Like there's no tomorrow

"Keiko!" Jen and Erin call

Pulling me out of my reverie

With my hand still poised above my paper

I look up at them

Like I've lost all my memory

Then smile so brightly

It blinds them temporarily

My mind wonders back out

My life is good

But I have the feeling

It's about to change forever

Hey, this is to a new story I'm starting, I have this really big idea for it, tell me what you think. Thanks.
