The shrill of Clarissa's alarm woke her up just before 7 after a sleepless night. The two drunk delinquents didn't get home till 6 am on Sunday and whilst they were both nursing hangovers Clarissa took the lack of homework as an opportunity to google Brett's convictions.

The search result still haunted her. She couldn't believe Brett was the culprit, the crimes seem unlike him. Whilst he is compulsive and angry he wouldn't commit the crimes started. As she began to read the headlines of the result for 'Brett Phelps'.
"Girl Burnt in Burning Books"
"Only the Young Kill early"
"Local boy destroys family"
"Attack of the Adolescence"

Burnt! Kill! Destroy!Attack!

She was aching to ask Brett now his hangover was gone but she had lay in bed almost half an hour and needed to get ready for school.

Carelessly dressing herself she styled her hair in a casual pinup using the first layer of her hair, hid them designer Gucci bags below her eyes with tones of concealer and foundation then added a lick of red lipstick to finish the look. Sixties vibe! Finishing the book with a leather jacket instead of a blazer and combat boots she raced to school just in time.

The first face she saw... the one she least wanted to. Matthew Montgomery! She didn't race past him hiding her face or even look straight at him. She kept her dignity and her head held high and she strutted past a guilty looking young boy.

She never has really been the talk to the school but walking into class that day she almost felt like she'd died and was resurrected walking amongst the teens with all the commotion cause by her walking through the halls and at the common side glances she received.

Siting in her normal seat, Gabby was leaning over her as if protectively when Matthew walked in. The whole class was silenced and cautiously watched him as he spoke to the teacher. Gabbys fist clenched as if she had visions of murder on her mind, Clarissa grabbing her closed fist to stop her extending her arm towards his face. " Gabz, don't." Pleading with her best friend and adding puppy dog eyes for extra emphasis Gabby calmed down, the rage slowly simmering down and she smiled and exhaled once Matthew left the room.

" How are you so calm?" Gabbys curious mouth ran itself once the class started talking again, their conversation masked by the chatter of teenagers. " I don't know. I feel like a weight has been lifted. Don't get me wrong I want him to pay and suffer but there's something stopping me. They deserve each other. Honestly. There's so many people who deserve me and I deserve them." As if proud of her best friend Gabby tightened her grip on Lissa hand reassuringly as she smiled a sympathetic smile just as the class started.

By lunch her patience was running very low. Each pupil had heard of the dramatic breakup of the schools ' super couple' which they were dubbed despite never being called that before. Smiles and nods were being exchanged and kind words from girls she's never spoken to were given to Clarissa.

Her temperature was already boiling but it exploded when the tramp herself decided to speak up. Chloe Germain! The boyfriend stealing brat herself. " Cl.. Lissa! Wait!" She called after Lissa, falling into footstep beside her. " Look... I'm sorry. He told me you broke it off with him. I believed I was the pawn in rebound sex. Please forgive me..." she stood with pleading blue eyes, waiting for Clarissa to speak up. " You're not even worth my breath, have him for all I care. Just karma is a huge Bitch and you'll soon feel it bite you in your ass!" Satisfied with her venomous words she turned on her heels out to the car park.

Bumping into Brett around the side of the building which is hidden from the windows she looked disapprovingly at the cigarette in his hand. " What the hell I deserve it" gesturing towards it Brett chuckled and handed her the cigarette. Coughing slightly she discovered the true ingredients of this cigarette. " Brett! How could you." She barked at him like a mother scolding her son. After her outburst she took another puff feeling more relaxed and care free with each drag.

The school bell rang behind them as she finished off his cigarette. " I leave you unattended for one minute and your wrestled into this low lives life. Since when did you smoke?" It was Matty with a smug grin on his face. " Since when do you care your scum. Actual scum! You've no right to call others who are much more of a man than you." Unknown as to why she defended Brett he grinned at her as he punched Matty before walking away unfortunately not leaving any permanent damage on him.

Slightly buzzed in class Brett and Clarissa giggled like girls and cackled like hyenas throughout the next lesson to the point they got sent out.

Wondering the empty corridors they became children again as they ran and jumped and laughing due to the substances in their system. Blindly turning the wrong way, Clarissa's back landed against the wall inches from the fire alarm, Brett's hips touching hers. Grinning a goofy grin they began laughing. " What have you done to me? Smoking. Kicked out of class. Skipping class. Whatever next?" Waggling his eyebrows in amusement making Clarissa burst into hysterics he grabbed her hand looking for security cameras and glided it along the adjacent wall until her hand hit the fire engine red fire alarm. " No."

Adamant she wasn't pulling that bell he returned to his shielded self and stepped back from her brushing her cheek ever so subtlety.

Giggles filled the corridor as she suggested a trip to the beach just as her sweaty hands gripped the lever and released the stressful teens from their tortuous lessons.

Dragging Brett away from the crime scene dumbfounded at her behaviour she pulled him into the car park where they climbed onto his motorcycle that they rode to school on and left their actually not burning school behind them.
