Ellington's pov
Ouch! That hurts bad. I've been waiting so long for Rydel and finally when I got her I realise that he probably doesn't even like me but came to see Calum.
Her jaw dropped.
"You guys got together. Like together, together?!"I could hear hurt in her voice, but why?
"Congratulations, guys!" Ross broke the awkwardness.
"Yeah, congrats!"Laura said.
"Um, congratulations." I said with not much happiness in my tone.
"Thanks guys!"Calum didn't notice the tears in Rydel's eyes.
Suddenly, Rydel excused herself and Laura followed.
After a while, I decided to go check up on her.
"Um, I'm just going to get a breather outside." I told them.
"Do you want me to come with you?"Ross offered.
"No,no. Thanks. I just want some privacy, please."
"Ok."
I walked outside and I immediately stopped dead in my tracks when I heard sobbing. I hid behind a spiky plant. Ouch! Best plant to choose, ratboy!
I saw Rydel crying.
"I feel so mean! I really do like Ratliff-it's just I don't know if I trust Raini will treat Calum well-like he deserves to be treated."
She likes me! My insides are seriously bursting!
"I wonder how Ellington feels about me."
I think I heard Laura murmur something like, "I know."
"Do you think that he likes me like the way I love him?"
SHE LOVES ME! Woohoo! Yes! Finally!
"I do,"I accidentally slipped.
"Wait, did you hear that?!"Rydel started to panic-it looked so cute.
"Laura, please don't tell anyone! Please!" she begged.
"I promise-"
I interrupted, "Too late."
