Daisy's POV

I woke up in my room. Pitch walked up to me and began nudging me to stand. I slowly stood and looked around for any signs of life but it appears that I'm alone with Pitch. I used him for support as I got dressed. He walked with me to the dining room table where the six brothers and my cousin were seated.

"Good morning guys. Did you guys do your homework?" I asked with a weak smile rubbing my eyes.

"Are you kidding me?!?! 'Good morning. Did you guys do your homework?' Is really the first thing you say after last night's events?!?!" Subaru yelled hitting the wall behind him. Pitch snorted and shook his head.

"Hm? Oh, right. What happened again?" I asked yawning.

"You really are hopeless Daisy, aren't you?" Reji remarked pushing up his glasses. Before explaining what happened.

"Oooh yeah! That's explains why I'm sore." I sheepishly rubbed the back of my neck.

"I could make you sore in another way~" Laito winked at me.

"Please refrain from make sexual innuendos at the table Laito." Reji scolded him.

"Well I'll see you guys in school" I smiled hopping on to Pitch.

"I'd wish you'd ride me instead" Laito whined.

"I wish you wouldn't bring that thing inside" Reji grumbled.

"If Laito and Ayato can be inside so can Pitch." I stuck my tongue at him as Pitch and I made it out the door. As Pitch ran I looked up at the night sky. Thoughts running around my head.

' Did Jason really mean to ignore me? Does he still care? Should I be mad at him or forgive him? '

' I'll forgive him but I won't forget. '

Time skip to her arriving at school

I saw Jason after I put Pitch away. His face seemed tired. His eyes were lifeless framed by black bags from sleepless nights. His usually combed hair was a mess. A leather jacket hugging his torso. I ran to him.

"Jason! Hey, Jason!" I called running to him. His eyes widened when he saw me. He quickly casted his eyes down. I quickly hugged him from behind his cologne softly filling my nose.

"I'm sorry. I'm just a monster. You'll end up hurt again if you come near me again." His voice was low and broken. I buried my face into his back as I unzipped his jacket. I pulled away taking the jacket with me. I turned him around and looked at his wrist. A warm sticky liquid I knew was blood. I frowned at the fresh scars littering his wrist.

"Don't touch me. You'll stain your hands farther." He said pulling away. Memories filled my mind all at once.

"When it comes to you, I'll stain them a thousand times more." I smiled softly.

"Jason, I forgive you but know I'll never forget." I wispered. He nodded.

"Friends?" I asked. His eyes widened again before he smiled softly nodding. We headed back to school as the bell rang.

"You like a mess." I laughed

"Its just me without you." He joked.

' It feels nice to have him around again

It's short but it's something. I'm having trouble on who she should fall for. Suggestions please. ~ KK
