Realization

Daisy's POV

Jason and I are currently lying on my bed talking. The brothers don't know he's here. He does this more often now than when I was at the Sakamaki mansion.

"You've been acting differently. Why is that?"

"What do you mean you're the one who was away all this time." I replied with giggle

"That's not what I mean. You've been acting differently than when you lived with the other bloodsuckers."

"I don't think I have. If anything I feel more myself here, you know?"

"No, I don't." Jason frowned deeply before he walked to my balcony window.

"I'll see you around. I have stuff to do."

"Ok you be careful on your way out." I told him before he jumped off the balcony.

"Whatever" His voice called jumping into the bushes.

I lay down ready for bed but I start thinking about what happened today I rode some rides, saw some animals , ate some amazing fair foods, Yuma kissed me........

WAIT YUMA KISSED ME!!!

Why would he do that!? I remember him saying he wanted to show how he felt but what did he mean by it? Did he mean in a romantic way or just a lustful way like Laito? Wait no I shouldn't think too much about it he was probably just messing with me. He's supposed to be trying to get Yui's attention. Why does that thought make me uneasy and maybe even a little jealous? I'm supposed to protect her but here I am being jealous by something I'm unsure of. How stupid can I be?! I gotta get some answers.

I rolled out of bed and headed down stairs. I was looking for Kou or even Austin as he was sometimes around. He may be their blood bag but he doesn't like with them luckily. I found Kou bugging Yuma.

"Kou leave his candy alone." I sighed I found both the guy I was looking for and the guy I was hoping to avoid.

"OH yeah? What do I get if I stop? Can I have a drink kitten?" Kou asked with a wink.

"I guess that's acceptable but there's one more condition to that." I said started walking away to his room. I know Yuma was going to be pissed but Jason left and I need someone who knows Yuma well.

"So what's that other condition?" Kou smirked shutting the door as I made myself comfortable on his bed.

"Well um..." my voice seemed to get stuck in my throat.

"Could it possibly be that you want to confess your undying love for me?" He teased throwing his arm around me.

"Actually it's about Yuma and I don't know who else to talk to. You're a flirt so I was hoping you could help me?" Kou's stared at me as if my was studying my every move.

"So in other words you want me to help you get Yuma" a cocky smirk appeared on his lips as my cheeks burned.

"Will you help me or not?" I gained my composure and looked him in the eyes.

"No"

"Huh?! Why not?!" Panic built in my chest.

Does he think I'm not good enough to be with Yuma? Did I mess something up?!

"Little Kitten you don't need any help he's already wrapped around your pretty little finger. Are you really to dense to see it?" His cocky smirk still resting on his lips.

"How are you so sure?!"

"I'll give you a parting gift." He bit into the left side of my neck and held me close so to him there was no space left in between our bodies. He finished and licked the spot clean.

"There. That'll be your tell."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Yuma and I are the only ones who have tasted your blood. You even offered in front of him. How he reacts to thus mark will tell you. If you're still unsure come to me and I'll explain." He said tracing the bite mark he made.

"Now off you go Kitten." He pushed me out the door.

"Stupid Kou he didn't help me just drank my blood." I grumbled under my breath. I started to make my way back to my room.

Kou was no help at all. Now who should I ask for help next?

My thoughts were interrupted by my dumbass running into something. I ended up falling flat on my ass. When I look Yuma is staring down at me. His eyes hardened as he spotted my neck. He roughly helped me up and before I knew it we were in his room on his bed. My body trapped was under his. His face so close to my own.

He's so close! Is he going to kiss me again?! My heart is beating so fast!

"You smell just like him." His voice growled in my ear sending my heart racing. His face lowered closer to my neck. He hovered over Kou's bite mark. His breathing fanning it. He growled again before he bit directly over Kou's. His bite was much gentler then the last few times he has bitten me. My hands moved on their own. One tangled into his hair while the other clawed into his back. His teeth left the wound but his mouth did not. He greedily licked and sucked the tender stop. Groans of both pain and pleasure forced their way out of my throat. He released the spot just to mark the other side of my neck. When he bit too rough I gave his hair a slight tug. He groaned into my neck but it only seemed to encourage the assault to my neck.

"Y-Yuma" my voice sounded shaky and breathless. He growled before pulling away to look me in the eyes. Blood trickled down the side of his lip. His tongue licked away my blood before it could drip too far. His eyes were glowing red. I don't think he has every looked hotter in my life.

"There now he'll know you're mine." He voice was rough and deep. It sent shivers down my spine. He licked his new mark one last time but still kept me trapped under him.

"Yours?" I couldn't help but ask. His attitude completely flipped. His face turned red at his actions. He let me up refusing to look at me.

"O-only if you want to be."

"Is that your way of asking me out?" This time a smug smirk found its way to my face.

"Tch of course it is." He had gained his composure back but was still pink. I smiled before I pulled him into a kiss.

Hello reader I'm back from the dead! I doubt anyone is still reading this. It's been a rough two years for me. I had a kid.COVID happened. My best friend committed suicide. He was the one Jason was based off of so don't expect to see him again. I did try to make this one longer it's a bit over 1000 words without this note. No one gave me a response so Yuma will be the main love interest. I'm slowly getting back into writing. I am a full time college student, I work, and I have a 2 year old so please continue to be patient with me.
