"(y/n)?"

You wake up feeling someone shaking your shoulder and slowly open your eyes.

"We're just about to land," he whispers gently, smiling at you.

"Thanks for waking me," you say, putting up your tray table and getting ready for descent.

"No worries, I thought you were never going to wake up, I didn't wake you for food, I'm sorry, you looked really peaceful, I was waiting for so long-" Dan stops himself, blushing.

You smile and touch his arm, "It's okay, I get what you meant," you chuckle softly, making him smile. The seatbelt sign is already on so you quickly do up the buckle and get ready for landing, you can't believe you're actually going to London!

TIME SKIP

The landing was quiet. You and Dan didn't talk at all until the plane was stopped, although you didn't need to talk, the silence was nice.

Once the seatbelt sign's turned off again you groggily unbuckle it and stretch, accidentally letting out a massive yawn. You look over at Dan who's smiling amusedly at you, great, that's embarrassing.

Before you get the chance to stand up the aisle is flooded with other passengers, waiting impatiently to get off the plane. Looks like you're stuck here for a few more minutes.

You quickly get out your phone and text your parents, telling them you landed safely, and then decide to text (y/b/f).

Hey, just landed and can't wait to see you! x

You shove your phone back in your pocket, satisfied, and wait for all the other people to hobble out of the plane.

You look over at Dan who's gazing out the window, and decide to take a look too. You lean over and peek down the runway and then at the London landscape in the background, it looks beautiful, but in an intimidating way. How do you hail a taxi? What if you get lost? What if you get hit by a train?

All realistic things, obviously.

Dan reverts his gaze back to you and only then do you realise how close you are. His face is inches from yours and your legs are touching from you leaning over. You awkwardly cough and blush, turning away from him and looking back to the aisle.

The rest of the plane is completely empty, when did that happen?

You stand up, grabbing your bag and checking it again, seeing that everything's there, and begin to walk up the aisle of the plane, Dan close behind you. You trek down the stairs and begin walking into the airport terminal where you'll collect your luggage.

As you walk into the building you're hit with cold air, which helps to wake you up even more. Dan's now walking beside you as you both make your way to the luggage terminal where you stand and wait for the bags to start coming out.

After a while Dan walks forward and picks up a black suitcase towards the front.

You expect him to turn around and walk out the doors, forgetting about your existence.

But he doesn't, he comes and stands back beside you, waiting. You smile at him gratefully and he smiles back. A lot of smiling has happened during this flight.

Looking back towards the carousel you see your (f/c) (A/N: favourite colour) suitcase and walk towards it to get it off.

When suddenly, everything starts to go wrong.

Before you're even within arm's length of your bag a guy comes and quickly takes it from the carousel and begins walking away swiftly.

You gape in shock, he just took your bag! All your clothes, books, all your favourite belongings are in that bag.
