It was well into the Campbell party and after being greeted and welcomed back by everyone Bernie was in the mood for some karaoke. She had decided to dedicate her song to the love of her life, Serena, who was found at the front of the group, smiling as Bernie sang. Bernie wasn't the greatest of singers, but the thought meant the world to Serena. The whole group swayed as Bernie sang, arms in the air and all. "I don't wanna close my eyes

I don't wanna fall asleep

'Cause I'd miss you, babe

And I don't wanna miss a thing

'Cause even when I dream of you

The sweetest dream will never do

I'd still miss you, babe

And I don't wanna miss a thing"

Serena started tear up, the song was full of emotion and had a true meaning behind Bernie's choice, especially given the recent events of Bernie leaving. She was just happy to have the blonde back. Bernie continued to sing, as she walked over to Serena, taking her hand, looking deep into the brunettes eyes as she sang.

"I don't wanna miss one smile

I don't wanna miss one kiss

Well, I just wanna be with you

Right here with you, just like this

I just wanna hold you close

Feel your heart so close to mine

And stay here in this moment

For all the rest of time"

As Bernie finished the song she pulled Serena in closer, cupping her cheek, pausing as she admired her lover. Seeing the chance, Raf grabbed his mistletoe, running over to the lovebirds. Both looked up and smiled as they saw Raf up to his old romantic tricks. "I guess that means we have to now, I mean for traditions and all?" Bernie smiled, caressing Serena's cheek and she inched closer to the brunette. Serena closed the gap as their lips pressed, Serena's hands making their way up Bernie's back as she deepened the kiss, neither wanting to break away. After a minute or so the two women broke apart, both needing air. "I love you Serena Campbell." Bernie confessed. "I always have." She took both of Serena's hands in her own caressing her lover's skin with her thumb. "You mean the world to me. I don't know why I ever left." Bernie frowned at the thought of her leaving. "I'm sorry Serena." Serena tearing up pulled Bernie close, embracing the woman's body against her, absorbing the warmth. "Well, you're here now sweetness." Serena whispered, kissing Bernie's cheek. "Just don't ever leave me again." Serena added, grinning at the blonde. "I wouldn't. I couldn't. I don't ever want that empty feeling again Serena." Bernie bit her lip, choking on her own words. "I mean it. I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
