Harry didn't want this to happen. He didn't want a random girl coming into his pack, his bed, and flipping the order he had. He just had this odd feeling, even his inner wolf seemed to be antsy and pacing around, whining at him as he ignored it.

Despite seeming like a heartless asshole, Harry wasn't that bad of a guy. He cared for the pack, took care of them, helped them all out whenever he could. He didn't go to every function, no, but he was alpha after all. He had important work.

When Alpha Lakeside contacted him for the deal at first, he wanted to say no. In fact- he did. Screamed it, yelled it, had to be talked down by Liam even for someone to suggest he cheat himself out of his true mate, all for this alpha to get peace, and territory for his pack. It took a few days, but they had actually managed to convince him.

It wasn't easy. Harry always wanted his true mate. The one person he knew would calm him, be his rock, be the person who he could hold and tell his secrets to. But he was going on 27, and he hadn't found her yet. And the truth was, a pack without a Luna just wasn't as strong. Not half as strong as his pack needed, with its extensive size. Harry had to put his selfish needs away and take care of the pack.

Rosalie Lakeside... he didn't hate the name as much as he wanted. Why couldn't she have a typical, or really ugly name? All he had heard from people was that she was apparently 21, gorgeous, with black waves for hair and soft brown eyes. But that didn't help his internal struggle to hate her.

He couldn't. It probably wasn't what the girl wanted either but god, it hurt him to think that maybe one day he would find his true mate, and he would have disrespected her by mating with this girl. He wouldn't ever forgive himself.

He could hear the car pull up outside and the nerves rose again, insisting he stay in his office. The girl was probably just as nervous, and he knew meeting in front of many pack members probably wouldn't be ideal. Plus, she could come in and get a slight feel of the place. Harry trusted Liam with his life, he would let him lead her to his office.

However, he didn't expect what he got when he let out the low 'come in'. The oak door opened and he was hit with this smell. Like, vanilla and spice and he immediately picked up his head, heart beating a mile a minute as the sensation filled the room.

This couldn't be happening. Not here- not now. How in the world? Harry couldn't wrap his head around if.

'Mate! Mate!' His inner wolf was bounding around inside of him but he couldn't focus on much of anything besides the smaller girl who was frozen near the door of his office.

She was... beyond what anyone had said. The brown eyes were more than pretty, like melted, sticky honey that kept pulling him in deeper and deeper, the thick lashes framing them adding a slight air of innocence. Messy, dark hair framed her face, even a bit that had gotten moved to her cheek which made his hand twitch with the need to push it away.

Her body was soft and curvy and Harry knew it would feel perfect against his own. The swell of her breasts could be seen from the cut of the sweater, the larger hips and thick thighs making his mouth water. Fucking hell, how the hell did the fates know exactly what he wanted?

It felt like the room was a sauna, the heat kicking up in his body and hers as well.

Rosalie was... fuck, she was beyond shocked. There was the ringing of 'mate' in her head but all she could do was stare at the man, look at his large stature and shake a bit. Because he was so beautiful, so tall and strong and everything an alpha should be.

The dark green eyes bored into hers, making it hard to look away, but eventually she did because- how could she not? Alpha Styles was built, and tall, and she could see the peeks of tattoos on his slightly exposed chest which made her shudder just a bit. Her own mark could be right above it, at the joint of his neck and collar bones- God. It was starting already.

Harry's chest was heaving slightly as he looked at the girl, her parents at a loss and Liam taking them and hurrying out of the room. It wasn't wise to stand between an alpha and his mate, especially when they're first meeting.

He took the first step, moving from behind his desk and slowly made his way toward the girl who was frozen. He couldn't help it, the need to be close to her was so, so strong. He needed this creature in his arms at this very fucking moment but he had to be cautious, not wanting to scare her off.

"Hi." Rosalie finally uttered a shaky greeting, feeling his heat as she was backed into the same oak door she had been so scared of before. Her heart was going insane as well. A mix of fear and excitement, and her inner wolf jumping for joy at the fact her mate was here.

Harry couldn't find the words yet, lifting a hand and brushing the soft hair away from the smooth, warm cheek. A slight whimper left Rosalie's mouth at the little touch, a rumble growing from Harry's chest as he cupped the side of her cheek.

Never in a million years would she think that she would be nuzzling her face against this large, rough hand, but here she was. Reveling in any brush of skin she could get, eyes slightly hooded as she felt him lean down. Their foreheads pressed together, Harry's breath washing across her lips... those pink, plump lips that Harry wanted all over him at this moment, he thought to himself.

"I finally found you."
