It was a Saturday evening and I was getting ready. Ethan said he was taking me someplace tonight, but wouldn't tell me where.Sam and Kale are going to babysit Emma tonight, cause Ethan wants it to just be me and him.
I walked over to my closet, running my hands along all my dresses, deciding which one to wear. I picked a deep red dress, which I had just recently bought when I was at the mall with Sam last weekend.

I presumed it wasn't going to be a super fancy night, which is why I chose this dress in particular. I curled my hair and did a smoky eye, with my favorite mascara and a nude lipstain.
"Lexi!" Ethan called as I finished doing my makeup.
"Yes?" I asked, looking through my shoes.
"Are you ready to go?"
"Yes!" I put on nude heels and looked in the mirror. I think I was ready. I walked down the stairs.
"We have to drop off Emma at Kale's house with him and Sam." He said.
"I know." I said quietly. He looked up at me. He looked so good. He was wearing a white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and I could see his toned arms, and khaki pants with black dress shoes.
"Damn..." He said, looking me up and down.
"Dolans clean up nice." I smiled. I walked out into the living room, where Emma was in her bouncer. I took her out of it and grabbed the baby bag.
"Mommy and daddy will see you later, baby." I said, putting her on my hip. We drove to Kale's and walked to the door.
"Hey cutest couple ever." Sam answered the door.
I smiled. "All the stuff you'll need is in the bag, text one of us if you have any questions." I handed her the baby.
"Love you princess." Ethan said to Emma.
"We'll be here to pick her up around 9:30, if that's okay?" Ethan asked Sam.
"Yeah, anytime! And you guys don't have to go home right away, you can stay and chat for a little bit." She said.
"Okay, thank you again Sammy!" I said, hugging her, as we left.
Ethan drove with one hand on my leg, the other on the wheel. I really love him. We arrived at a restaurant on the waterfront. (It was August, so it was warm.)
"Aw, Ethan this is beautiful." I said, getting out of the car, taking his hand.
"Only the best for my queen." He said, kissing my cheek.
We had dinner and Ethan took me outside and we walked along the docks as the sun was setting.
"Thank you Ethan." I kissed him. Tonight was great.
