You spent the night in Papyrus' room. He gave you a small mattress on the floor next to his bed. You still had his scarf on and it worked as an excellent blanket! You fell asleep amazingly easy, you felt safe in his room. You saw what he was willing to do in order to kept you safe. Why is he doing this to me..? Why is he so... Nice?
The morning came quicker than you had expected. Something shook you. "Pet, time to get up..." It was Papyrus' voice. You slowly open your eyes seeing that he was all dressed up in his armor he was again in a squat position next to you. You slowly sat up on the mattress and rubbed your eyes, yawning at the same time.
"Good morning..." You said sleepily.
"Morning." He replied politely to you as he slowly took his scarf back from you and put it on. As he adjusted his scarf and he stood up. "I have picked out some clothes for you pet, I expect you to dress as quickly as you can. I will be waiting downstairs." He stepped out from the room, closing the door behind him.
You yawned again as you stood up. You stretch softly making your joints crack softly. You looked at his bed and saw the clothes he had picked out for you: a white tank top, black long sleeved sweater, red jeans and a black scarf along with something that looked like a collar covered in red glowing bones. You blinked at the collar as you picked it up from the bed.
"PET HURRY!" You heard Papyrus' voice coming from downstairs. You quickly change your clothes and put everything on expect the collar and the black scarf. The sweater was too big for you and it almost reached your knees, but at least it was extremely warm. You rolled your sleeves up so your hands were visible. The jeans that you got were cut from the bottom to mach your height. You put your shoes on and dash downstairs.
"Why you are not wearing anything around your neck, pet?" He asked sounding a bit frustrated as he crossed his arms.
"Sorry, I just wanted to ask what it is.." You looked up at him as you waited him to answer.
"It's something that makes the other monsters leave you alone. Put it on, quickly."
You blinked at him. "I can't get it on myself, would you help me..?" You asked carefully and tried your best not to make the skeleton angry. Papyrus sighed and rolled his one red glowing pupil.
"Fine..." He undid his arms as he knelt to you and took the collar from your hands. You turned your back to him and moved your long (h/c) out of the way. Papyrus made his best effort not to hurt you which he succeeded in. The collar made a soft click-sound as you let your hair go. "Is it too tight, pet?" He asked as you turned to face him.
"No, not at all. It's perfect like my outfit. Thank you.." You made a soft smile as you wrapped the black scarf around your neck, unlike his red one this didn't hang on the level with your ankles. It stopped around your lower back.
Papyrus gave a soft smirk. "All of the clothes you are wearing are my old ones, I'm glad you know how to appreciate them." He stood up and turned to the door opening it slowly as you both step outside the house.
You followed Papyrus as he lead you to the place called Snowdin forest. You also discovered that the skelebros lived in Snowdin town. You had been following him through the forest for a while until he stopped walking.
"We are here." Papyrus said as he looked at you. "This is where I patrol for humans." You nodded softly as you scanned the environment.
"Papyrus?"
"Yes pet?" He responded quite fast.
"What happens to the humans after you capture them?" You asked shyly remembering why you came to this place in the first place...
Papyrus hesitated to answer as he saw how eagerly you wanted to know.
"Well pet, I, The Great Papyrus usually just tease the humans. I make them scared as they ran to face Undyne which makes her job a lot easier." He said.
"And her job is...?" You looked up at him again.
"Her job is to kill the humans." He didn't look at you as he mentioned the killing. Your heart nearly stopped as you realized that you have went through all of this for nothing. You traveled all the way through here fearing for your life, just to find the missing kids...
"I see.. I just have one more question to you." You tucked on his hand which caught his attention. He turned his head down and waited you to ask him. "Why haven't you killed me yet or taken me to Undyne?" Papyrus looked stunned as his fictional eye brow rose. He didn't answer immediately as he stared into the horizon.
"My intention is not to hurt you or take you to be executed. I would never do that to my pet. I would do it to my brother when I get fed up with him... But I promise you, pet you are completely safe with me." You smiled in response and snuggled to your scarf. You no longer were afraid of him. He had a kind heart under all that cold armor. Perhaps he has been hiding his true self from others the whole time?
Few hours went by and nothing had really happened. You sighed quietly from boredom as Papyrus looked around the area for humans. You tried to think of something to do. You kicked the snow softly until you got an idea. You smiled secretly as you bent down to the ground and formed a snowball in your hands. You made sure that Papyrus wasn't looking as he walked by keeping a look for the humans. Your smile grew bigger as you threw the small snow ball at him. The ball hit his skull, making him jerk forward from the surprise and turn to you. You acted all innocent as a huge smirk grew on his face and his red glowing eye narrowed.
"You asked for it pet..." Then the snow ball fight began between you and The Great Papyrus.
