(~*This chapter is from Papyrus's point of view*~)
I am quite pleased how this day turned out. A weak human ran right to my arms... How delightful! My brother Sans claimed it happened all thanks to him, but I didn't believe that liar. He was trying to steal the show from me. As he always does... Well this time I'll make sure I will be the one!
This human however was already wounded and these wounds seemed strange to me. They looked like small burn marks on it's hands and it's face was looking very strange as well. Someone must have tried to steal my pride! I will be the one who will bring seven humans to the king! Except well.. I am afraid that someone as great as me will have to admit that this is my first human I have ever captured. They seem very fragile and puny to me but not worthless of my time, since I, The Great Papyrus will soon join The Royal Guard and become it's leader! I will rule them all with an iron fist!! Nyeh heh heh hee!!
As Sans knocked the human out and I, The Great Papyrus quickly knelt down and caught the human to my arms. The human was bleeding from it's head. My armor must have been the reason why. It ran pretty hard at me and the blood stains on my glorious armor confirmed it.
"Well boss? Are you proud of me?" Sans gave me his usual stupid wide grin and a wink as I stood up with the human in my boney arms.
"No. I am not proud of you brother." I responded.
Sans seemed mad about my response. "Hey what the fuck!? I scared them to your direction!-"
"AND I CAUGHT THEM!!"
"YOU WERE JUST STANDING STILL, LOOKING TO A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIRECTION WHILE THE HUMAN RAN INTO YOU!!" Sans' red eye begun to glow in a deeper shade of red as he squeezed his hands into fists.
"JUST SHUT. UP!!!" I yelled at him with the top of my lungs. He finally stopped as I started to pant in pure rage. "The human needs to be in perfect shape before we take it to the king because then he must give me my rightful place in the royal guard... He will deal with this human as I will rise to power." I managed to calm down. "Let's go home" I ordered.
"But.. Why!? That doesn't make any sense! Why do we have to take the human with us to our home!?" I turn at Sans outraged. He gulps as I stared at him with the most evil look I could ever give him. "N-Never mind.. Boss." Sans said as he shoved his hands to his pockets, as usual.
"Let's get going before any of the stupid dogs decide to show up and ruin everything from me." I said as I started heading back to Snowdin with the human curled up in my arms, with my brother walking next to me.
The bleeding was getting slower but I used my magic to stop them from bleeding for good so the dogs wouldn't catch our scent. I also got the blood off from it's clothes at the same time. The human seemed calmer. After sometime of walking back to our home it suddenly clutched on my scarf with it's hands as hard as it ever could while Sans and I were walking through the forest.
"What's the human doing boss?" Sans turned his head to me as I stopped walking.
I stared down at the human. "Hmm.. Let me think. I believe it is cold, Brother. Give me your hoodie."
"What!? I'm not giving it my-" I made a large red bone appear in my left arm. I held it out to him with the look of anger on my face. He knew exactly what would happen if he disobeyed me. The razor shape edge would cut his throat and he would turn into a pile of ash. Sans sighed and rolled his eyes as he unzipped his hoodie and handed it to me. I quickly wrapped my brother's hoodie around the human. It let go from my scarf and snuggled to the hoodie.
"Hmm... Perhaps humans are not able to handle the cold. Poor design if you ask from The Great Papyrus." I thought out loud as I looked at Sans.
"Maybe? It clothes look kinda weird to wear in a weather like this.." He responded as he shrugged and put his hands to his shorts pockets.
"Indeed... Maybe there is not snow on the surface.." I noticed how tightly my arms were around this non-monster thing. I loosened my grip slightly, but kept the human still close just in case from the dogs. They would steal this from me like they stole my toys when I was little... I hate dogs with a burning passion.
As we kept walking forward Sans suddenly stopped and held his hand in front of me. I stood still as I held the human closer to my chest armor. Sans looked around suspiciously and so did I. It was rather quiet. Perhaps a little too quiet. We had walked close to the dogs territory. They were vicious and would do everything to get their dirty paws on the human. Especially when this was the last human we needed for our freedom. Being skeletons the dogs would chew us apart in a matter of seconds and my brother and I would be out numbered easily. It would be unacceptable since we are two of the strongest monsters in the underground.
Sans held his red glowing hand above his head as we teleported inside our living room. "Is the human in your arms boss?" Sans asked as he locked the door and pulled the curtains in front of the windows so none could see inside of our home.
"Yes..." I looked at the human for awhile as I carefully set it on the couch. I unwrapped my brother's hoodie and pulled it away from the human. I gave it back to my brother and he wiped some dust away from it before he put it back on. "Keep an eye socket on the human. I will go prepare it's cage. Don't fall asleep you lazybones or else..." I said as I cleaned my armor up and headed to the backroom.
"You got it boss.." Sans responded before he yawned softly. I sigh from frustration as I shut the door and began to set everything ready for the human. I can already taste victory... The Great Papyrus will be praised by everyone!
