His words cut her.
She thought the knife would be blunt,
But it dug deeper into her flesh.
But he didn't know she was a lion.
The unexpected happened.
She pounced and he was left silent.
All that's left where bruises.
"Just because I'm strong enough to handle the pain,
Doesn't mean I deserve it!"
