Taehyung's/Tae-suk's POV
After entering the bookstore, the seven of us scattered around to find a book to bring back to the Hwarang House.
I immediately went to the 'fiction' bookshelves, since I enjoy reading them.
While browsing through the bookshelves, I noticed a familar word.
"Hwarang: The Story Untold"
I grabbed it from the bookshelf, it was quite dusty, but whatever, I needed to see this.
I was reading the prologue, but I suddenly stopped after seeing this...
"A story about Tae-suk. Fictional, everything is made up by the author."
*Author? Hm. Who's the author?* I thought to myself.
I closed the book to see the cover, expecting to see the author's name. And there it was.
"Park Ji-ahn."
"Daebak!" I instantly shouted, which caught the attention of everyone. My hyungs and dongsaeng quickly came to where I was to see what happened.
"Hey Tae. Did you find something interesting?" Gi-yun asked me, curious about why I shouted.
"I sure did, hyung. Here, Take a look." I gave him the book I saw and we all read the prologue.
"Daebak indeed! Your name is here! But who's the author?" Jin-suk hyung asked.
"A person called Park Ji-ahn. I believe she's a woman." I replied.
All of a sudden, the person I believe who owned the shop, came running to the bookshelves we were in.
She looks nervous and her face was blushing. Anyway, she was really cute.
I asked her, "Aggishi, your name is Ji-ahn?"
"Y-es." She replied.
"Why is our names in your book?" I threw a question again.
"Ah..well..that is.." She really looked tense.
"Everyone likes Hwarang. So why not write a story which the best of the best knights are the lead charcters?" She finally replied. Even though it kinda sounded there was another reason why she wrote it, she was already tense, so, I stopped asking her more questions.
"Ah. I see." I replied, to calm her down.
"We'll buy this book, along with the ones we picked for ourselves." Min-ji announced.
We all followed Ji-ahn to the cashier table to pay.
"That would be 20 pieces of silver." She said to Min-ji, since he was the one paying.
"Here." He handed the money, he didn't really want to pay, but he had no choice since he was the first one to say that we'll buy the books.
"Thanks hyung." Kuk-jung thanked Min-ji.
"Thanks Hyung!" We said afterwards.
When we got out of the bookstore, the sun was already setting. The headmaster only allowed us till the moon rises, so we ran as fast as we can back to the Hwarang House, which is at the other end of the capital.
Ji-ahn's POV
*If only I could say I made the book because I love the guys.* I thought to myself.
Of course, why would I say that? That would be an embarrassment. I facepalmed myself.
Finally, the sun is setting, we can close the bookstore.
My servant helped me close the bookstore to go back to home, which is somewhere near the Hwarang House, since my father is the Minister of War, he needed to see how Hwarang was doing everyday to report it to His Majesty, the King.
We walked till the moon rose above the dark skies. My legs was tired, fortunately, our house was already just infront of me when my feet really felt giving up.
"Ahh. Finally. Home." I mumbled to myself, and opened the gate.
"My lady, I'll go to my quarters now. Good night, aggishi!" Chae-soo bid farewell as she went to her quarters in our home's complex. Our home was pretty large, and it had seperate quarters for our servants.
I removed my shoes before entering the house. I quietly slide the door open.
When I entered, my brother, Hyung-sik, was waiting for me.
"Aggishi, our abbeoji has a very important visitor. Don't disturb them, and quickly go to your room." He whispered to me.
"Who?"
"Better not know." He replied.
Since my room was just right beside abbeoji's, I could hear the voices.
"Pyeha, so you plan the war to be declared as early as possible?"
*Pyeha? Is he.. talking to the king? But why? and at our house? Doesn't make sense.* I thought to myself.
"Yes, minister of war. Everything must go to plan, get rid of Hubaekje once and for all." The voice was pretty deep. It sounded like a really authoritative voice.
I didn't really want to eavesdrop, but I can definitely hear it from my room.
The voices weren't that loud, so I was able to go to sleep almost immediately. The last sentence I heard was.
"Hwarang, use them."
