*Krystal's p.o.v*
I was walking out of the school building to my car I got for my 16th birthday from the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) meeting
*walks up behind me hugging me from the back* "hey babygirl"
"omg Savion you scared me" I said as I turned around
"ha i'm sorry Princess I had a meeting and knew you had one so I figured I'd wait for you" Savion said as he smiled
I smile and kiss his cheek as I get to my car unlocking it putting my bag in "I'm sorry I can't come to dinner with you tonight baby mom wants me home she said she has something important to tell me and since it's Friday she wants to tell me while we have mother daughter movie night like we used to" I said as I looked up at him
"I've known you all this time and it's still funny to me how short you are" he said as he laughed leaning against my car trying to catch his breath
"yeah yeah yeah whatever shut up okay I get it I'm short I'm 17 and 4'10 I know" I said hitting him in the stomach "ha ha so very funny"
"I'm sorry princess okay text me when you find out what's so important from your mom alright" he said kissing my forehead and walking away to his truck
I get in my car and go to the store picking up some snacks for tonight with my mom then goes and gets some food and then pulls up to my house in my driveway parking and gets out getting the stuff out locking the car and walks inside the house "Moooom I'm home" I semi yell as I walk to the kitchen
"hey sweetie how was school" my mom (Jennifer) says smiling while walking into the kitchen helping me with the groceries
"It was okay the magnet program has been doing good on our fundraisers we've raised more money so far than last year and this year isn't even over yet we're doing so good" I say smiling while I hand her, her Chinese food and drink and snacks she likes and gets my own food and drink and snacks while we walk into the living room turning the lights off getting our blankets set up and starts the movie
After a while of talking and laughing bad watching another movie
"so I have something important to tell you" she says looking at me
"oh yeah what's up mom I got your text today at school at the FBLA meeting" I say looking at her eating more of my Chinese
"I got that new huge promotion at work" she said
"oh my goodness that's great mom congratulations I'm so proud of you" I smile big hugging her and drinks some of my drink
"so we have to move" she says
"good thing I have my license" I say drinking more
"to North Carolina... This upcoming week will be your last week of school" she says looking down
I choke nearly dying... Did she just say what I really think I heard her say.??? Nah I must have something in my ears.. Wait I clean my ears every morning just because I can there's no way I heard her wrong
"ARE YOU SERIOUS!? NORTH CAROLINA THAT'S 7 HOURS FROM HERE I KNEW ABOUT THE PROMOTION AND THAT YOU HAD THE CHANCE BUT YOU NEVER TOLD ME THAT MEANT MOVING TO NORTH CAROLINA I DON'T KNOW ANYBODY IN NORTH CAROLINA" I yell on accident not even realizing how much my voice raised I was standing wailing my arms around and walking around the living room like a psycho my voice going crazy between whispering and yelling and stern and squeaking I didn't know what else to do and all she did was look at me I could see how sad she was which made me stop and look at her then walk back to the couch sitting looking at her
"how long have you known it meant moving to North Carolina" I said
"I knew it but I didn't mention that because I started slacking on the paperwork at work so I didn't think I would get the promotion so I didn't think it was a chance anymore but then he came into my office with the transfer papers telling me how proud he was and that I got the promotion the office had a party for me in the break room I even brought you cake please don't be mad I told you as soon as I found out and besides we have family in North Carolina so you won't be alone with nobody to talk to" she said moving to me moving my hair back holding my face up "this is a very huge opportunity for us leading us to a better life we'll visit here every school break so you can see your friends and we'll bring them up there during the summer just please be happy for me and not be mad"
I looked at her "I am happy for you mom and I'm sorry for yelling it just caught me off guard" I said
