The battle in wave

Naruto sighed as he dropped down onto a high but sturdy branch in the tree above the camp site. A moment of absolute silence ticked by before his teams idle chatter filled the trees once again. He listened for awhile before he became bored with the mindless pleasantries and carefully glided through the trees to the lowest branch protruding from the thick trunk. Sasuke took residence against the sturdy tree, a meter or two away from Sakura who sat next to the fire watching as the freshly caught fish cooked and listened to Tazuna's stories of the places he's traveled to build magnificent bridges and sometimes even the odd house or two. Kakashi kept quiet as he watched the two talk before he finally spoke up.
"It has come to my attention Tazuna-San that you have endangered my team by requesting a falsely ranked mission. I expected to fight off bandits hoping for a quick grab and steal, not highly trained missing nin targeting your head" Tazuna stiffened, clenching his hand around his jug of sake before he shakily took a sip.
"I also had Naruto do some background checking on you Tazuna-San, it appears you have not been truthfully to my village or my team, Naruto if you would be so kind as to share your gathered information" Naruto glanced down at Kakashi as all eyes focused up on him crouching like a winged cat in the trees. Naruto hummed, impressed how Kakashi had easily made up a story of Naruto gathering information to cover up any questions as to why he knew what he did about Tazuna's life.
"... The wave country is in trouble, a business man named Gatō has cut off all access to the lands beyond the wave and has taken control of the waters surrounding the island. All trade has been cut off and has left the country in a poor state. Tazuna has been trying to build a large bridge that will connect it to the surrounding lands and hopefully save his people by reconnecting their trading routs but Gatō has sent out missing nin to stop him. So far he has hired 'the demon brothers' as well as 'Zabuza Momochi' and his apprentice but any further shinobi influence is unknown" Naruto pulled out a book from inside the folds of his battle kimono and flipped to a specific page before turning it around and allowing everyone to see the description of the infamous Zabuza Momoichi.
"I have looked through all available files that include Zabuza and I have come across the information that if we do end up confronted by him he will most likely have his apprentice, Haku, hidden to save him from deadly injuries" Naruto snapped his book shut and slipped it back into his kimono.
"That is all I could gather in the short amount of time you allowed me Kakashi sensei, I would prefer more in depth research but I can only do so much in the short amount of time to get packed, steal a bingo book and return to the gate before Sakura managed to pack all her unnecessary make up and spare changes of clothes" Sakura flushed at the end of his sentence but remained thoroughly impressed by his information gathering skills.
"Impressive Naruto, so now that we know your story what do you do to convince us that we should not leave you here for dead" Kakashi continued on, glaring at the startled old man sitting on the log in front of the flickering camp fire.
"... Alright I'll admit I lied to you but my village is at stake, if you want to kill me that's fine but please help me save my village, we are so poor all we could afford was a C ranked mission, even our feudal lord is poor and can not supply us with much money" Tazuna bowed his head in shame while Naruto sighed and rolled his eyes, swooping down from the tree to land soundlessly next to the old man with his arms crossed.
"You do realise there is something called a long term payment, it was installed for this very purpose, if a person or village is too poor to pay up front then they can sign a contract that allows them to pay a monthly fee until the payment is payed off, it is so none of us inexperienced shinobi die needlessly when there are things that could prevent an untimely death." Naruto explained with a hint of annoyance in his tone. Tazuna stood there feeling stupid and guilty, staring at the Angel with his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide in shock. Naruto rolled his eyes again before speaking.
"It appears you did not know of this development. It is too late now the mission will be classed as a fail on our part if we turn back now unless someone would want to continue, putting your entire team in danger to help this poor old man and his village out." Naruto sighed heavily, slumping his wings as added effect. Sasuke ignored the unnecessary actions but stepped forward anyway.
"I think we should continue the mission. I don't want my first C ranked mission to be labeled a failure just because some stupid old man didn't know of long term payments" he said grumpily. Sakura timidly stepped forward and spoke up.
"I-I also think it would benefit our team to continue. It would give us some experience" Naruto turned to Kakashi who watched his team silently from the side lines.
"It is your call Kakashi sensei. Will you allow us to continue or are we turning back?" Kakashi seemed to ponder this for a moment before he smiled, or what his team assumed was a smile, and nodded his head.
"Alright, we will continue to help Tazuna-San but if one of my students are hurt Tazuna-San I will be raining hell down on you. Incase I am unable to fight, Naruto will be your commanding officer." Before Sasuke could argue Kakashi started to speak again.
"I am aware that Sasuke you are very powerful for someone of your age but Naruto has experience and therefore I trust his judgment in making rational decisions. He will be able to fight off any foe I am not able to because of his blood limit so do not argue, he is second in command" Sasuke grumbled unhappily as he sulked back to his tree and continued to brood. Naruto sighed but settled down in front of the fire, not needing its heat or light but finding comfort it the flicker of its flame that continued to dance. Naruto wrapped himself in his large wings and practically suffocated himself as he cocooned himself and shut out everyone else.
