Luana's POV. 

We are in the police station.

Yep, you heard that right, the freaking POLICE STATION.

God, why did I let things get so bad. Who would have thought that Alejandro would be sooo stupid? Of all the things, he did....

God, I need to smack some sense into him. Let's just ignore the fact that he is my boss and I could get fired but still, someone needs to do it. I can't actually believe he did that.

I am so screwed.

8 hours ago.

'Hello, I'm Blake. Luana's boyfriend. And you are...' He asked.

'Haha Blake, no need for that. This is my boss and his father- The Capello's. Mr Capello, meet Blake Colton, a childhood friend of mine' I introduced them to each other.

'What are you doing here? I thought you were in Germany to meet some investors with your dad' I asked.

Blake and his dad have been running the company for as long as I can remember. However, his dad is retiring and getting ready to give the reins of the company permanently to Blake. Because of this, he is so involved in running the company and traveling out of the country that I hardly see him anymore. But we talk a lot and I always tell him everything.

'Well I just got back today but my dad dragged me to this party. I was going to surprise you by coming over to your house tomorrow' Blake explained sadly. He always loved to surprise people.

'What was the whole boyfriend thing about?' Alejandro asked. He looked.... constipated?

'Oh, it's just this thing we always do. Whenever Luana looks uncomfortable it is usually because someone is trying to hit on her so I introduce myself as her boyfriend to scare them off. We have always had each other's backs for as long as I can remember' Blake laughed good-naturedly.

He must have noticed how uncomfortable I looked when Mr Capello was talking about my family. Thank the heavens Blake interrupted or it would have been disaster central if they found out who I was. But of course, Blake had to go and ruin it by opening his mouth.

'Hey why did you look so nervous before, was I interrupting something?' he asked.

'Oh yes, we were just discussing Luana's family heritage' Mr Capello answered. He looked at me suspiciously.

Blake paled as he subtly glanced at me. He knew everything about my family and knew what could happen if people found out who I was.

'Right, her family heritage. It's just made up of really boring poor people who have no connection to historical events... no connection.... just boring people from Italy hahaha' Blake laughed nervously.

I mentally facepalmed.

If Mr Capello wasn't suspicious before, he definitely was now.

'Hey Blake, did you want to take me to your dad? I can't remember the last time I saw him and I really miss him' I said cutting off Blake's nervous ramblings before he outed my family secrets to the world.
