The Mystery Boy

Chapter 7

     "Okay we're here," Braden said as he stopped the car. 
    
     We all got out and walked to the security part.

     "I'm going to miss you so much," I said as I hugged her.
  
    "I'm gonna miss you too. But I'll FaceTime you soon," she said hugging me back.

  When we got to my house I went into my room and grabbed my Vera Bradley purse and went back into the living room where Braden was standing.

   "Okay so they should be here soon so I should probably get my car started," I told Braden as I got to the living room.

"Okay, I'll meet you out side," he said as he put his shoes back on.

I grabbed my keys and went into the garage.

I opened the garage and drove down the driveway.

"hey lilac," I heard Larry say as he walked up the driveway.

"Hey Larry," I exclaimed as I got out of the car.

"Some of the guys bailed on us so it's just me, you, Braden, and Tim," Larry said as he walked towards Braden.

"Okay so I guess we can just take my car if u want," I suggested since my car would fit all of us in it.

"Sure," they said in unison.

Just then we heard Tim's truck pull into the subdivision.

"hey guys," he said as he got out of his truck.

"Hey Tim," we all said to him.

"So you guys ready to go?"Braden asked us.

We nodded and filed into my car.
      
About an hour later of hearing Tim and Larry fight over the volume of the music we pulled into the mall.

"So where to first," Larry asked.

"How about rue 21," I suggested.

"NO," they replied.

"How about Hollister," Larry suggested.

We all nodded and made our way to Hollister.

"Hey lilac!" Braden called.

"Yeah," I replied.

"Try this on," he said picking up a white lace knee high dress.

"I never thought that a guy would try to pick out an outfit for me," I said chuckling.

"Just try it on," he said laughing.

I picked up the dress and went to the dressing room.

"Okay I'm coming out," I said as I unlocked the dressing room door.

"Wow," they said in unison.

"I think u should get it," Braden exclaimed.

"Okay I guess," I said as I walked back to the changing room.

Once I got out I went to the counter and payed for the dress.

"Okay where to next," I said as I walked out of Hollister.

"Hot topic," I said as I started walking towards it.

We looked around and I ended up buying a panic at the disco shirt.

"What's for lunch," Tim asked.

"We could go back to my house and I could make some food," I suggested.

"Sure," they said as we left.
    
When we got back to my house I started making some grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup.

"It's ready," I said as I was done setting out the plates and utensils.

"Yummm," they all said as they walked into the kitchen.

"Thank you," I replied as I grabbed a plate.

"Lilac, I'm home," I heard my grandma call.

"In the kitchen grandma?" I called back to her.

She walked in and smiled at us.

"Hello boys!," she said smiling at

"Hi mrs.george," they all said back.

"Hi grandma, how was the crafting today?" I asked as I stood up and hugged her.

"Oh it was great! We made snowmen out of socks," she said hugging me back.

"That's so cute! Where's grandpa?" I said looking behind her.

"Oh he stayed back cause the pastors car broke down," she said sighing.

"Oh," I said as I got a cup of water.

"Oh yeah lilac we are having Cindy and her family over for dinner so be ready by 4:15," she said as she went to her room.

"Okay grandma," I replied as I finished doing the dishes.

"We have to go but we'll see you later," Larry said as he and Tim got their shoes on.

"Okay see u soon," I said as they left.

"I should probably get home and get ready for dinner. See ya," he said as he also got his shoes on.

"Bye," I said as I shut the door.
  
After about and hour of binge watching pretty little liars I got up and took a shower.
     
I put on the white lace dress I bought earlier today and put on some makeup.

I put my hair into a fancy updo and put on some white flower earrings.

I grabbed my white heels and went into the living room to find my grandma talking to Cindy.

"Hi Cindy," I said as they stopped talking.

"Oh look at you, you look so beautiful," she said gushing at my dress.

"Thank you," I said as I felt the heat rushing up to my cheeks.

"Well I better get going so I can get ready for dinner, I'll see you soon," she said as she walked to the door.

"Bye Cindy," we said in unison.

"So you ready for dinner," she said smiling at me.

"Yeah," I replied.
