Raven's POV

As we were resting in one of the rooms, we heard a frantic knock on the door. As me and Sarah's mom sat up, the door swung open.

"We may have a suspect!" Sarah's dad exclaimed.
"What?" Sarah's mom asked, her voice surprised.
"I detected several finger prints and traced them down on the computer and narrowed it down to one person." Sarah's dad explained.
"Well then, who is it?" I asked.

Sarah's dad had us follow him into the lab where he was investigating. His computer had an enlarged photo of a young man with jet black hair and black ear piercings.

"Nathan Smith." Sarah's dad told us. He then looked at the both of us. "Does this name ring a bell to any of you?"
"I heard that him and another person escaped a mental institution." Sarah's mom stated.
Sarah's dad nodded. "He's mentally insane."
"Okay, so who can we possibly contact about the situation?" Sarah's mom asked.
Sarah's dad smiled as he held up his phone. "I have his phone number right here."

Sarah's POV

Nate came out moments later, with no emotion on his face whatsoever. We both refused to look at him, so we looked down. We were both physically and mentally exhausted.

Suddenly, we heard a buzzing sound coming from the table right near us. I couldn't see what the number was from the distance I was at.

Nate then picked up the phone.
---
Raven's POV

The phone was ringing, it was on speaker. Me, Sarah's mom and Sarah's Dad were all listening in as well as several other agents who were ready to pinpoint the exact location of the call. It would take some time, but we were hoping that Nathan would stay on the phone long enough to know where exactly they were.

There was a click before a moment of silence before we finally heard a voice come through.

"Hello?" The voice said.
"Hi, is this Nathan Smith?" Sarah's Dad asked.
"Yes..." Nathan responded.
"My name is Chief George Watson." Sarah's dad began. "I believe you may have somebody we know and are looking for."

There was a moment of silence before we heard a sigh and what sounded like a grumbling noise.

"How the hell did you find out about this?" Nathan hissed.
"It doesn't take as long as you all think." Sarah's Dad responded. "And besides, with you having my daughter, we worked endlessly to try and find her. You managed to leave something behind of hers, and we took it from there."

There was a moment of silence, but we could hear him breathing profusely on the other line.

"Nathan..." Sarah's dad said.
"Call me Nate..." Nate mumbled, almost like he was gritting his teeth. "But now that you guys know and are possibly looking after me, looks like it's time to kill her!"

My heart began racing. Everybody immediately grew concerned.

"Listen to me, Nate." Sarah's dad stated. "It doesn't have to be this way. We know about your ugly past and the mental health issues you've been suffering from, we just want to help you."
"No!" Nate exclaimed, almost changing his expression. It seemed as though he went from angry to worried and upset. "I don't want to go back!"
"Nate, we understand you're scared and angry, and upset..." Sarah's dad continued. "But we will take you to a much better place, a place where people will give you the care and love and support you deserve."
"I don't believe you!" He suddenly hissed angrily again. "This is all some sort of trap, isn't it? You're going to come hunt me down, cuff me up and send me to jail or back to the same place I was in before!"
"It's not, Nate!" Sarah's dad assured him. "We really do want to help you!"

Suddenly, we heard a clicking noise. Nate had hung up.

Sarah's dad tried to get in contact with Nate again, but the line was already dead.

"Please tell me you got something!" Sarah's dad asked the other detectives.
"It's not the exact location but it's better than nothing." One of the detectives stated.

The other detective printed out the location and handed the paper to Sarah's dad. He looked at it and both her mom and I peered over his shoulder.

It was the big wooded area we refused to go into before.

"He might have some sort of camp set up or underground area in there." Sarah's Dad explained.

He then stood up. "Let's go."

Sarah's POV

I knew my dad was calling him, even though I couldn't hear the entire conversation I knew it was him.

Suddenly, Nate screamed before throwing his phone against the wall. He then grabbed the bat from the wall and smashed his phone into pieces.

He then turned over and stomped over to me, untying me, grabbing me by the hair and dragging me to another room.

"What're you doing?" I asked in a sudden panic.
"You need to die." He mumbled to me. "And me and Mat have to get out of here!"
"Nate! NO!" Mat exclaimed.
"SHUT UP MAT!" Nate shouted back to him.

Nate then took me into another room, slamming the door shut behind him.

It was just him and me now.
