Cathy is standing a few feet away, staring towards him. "The bond is very strong between you two, I can tell. I really do think we can save her. Go home now and get some rest. Come back in the morning and we will begin."
Jaden hugs her tightly. "Thank you so much. I will see you first thing in the morning." He turns and walks out the door.

Jaden tossed and turned all night. Every time he fell asleep, he would awake minutes later to visions of Chloe. Sometimes she was screaming, sometimes she was smiling, but every time she seemed to be trying to give him some kind of message. But he could never clearly make out what she was saying. He finally awoke to the sunlight pouring through his bedroom window. He quickly jumped up and threw his clothes on. He hurried to the door, almost tripping over his dog, Kip, in the process. "Sorry buddy!" he said as Kip just sat there staring at him awkwardly, wagging his tail. "I'll be back soon, I promise." He added as he closed the door behind him. As he made his way downtown he couldn't get all of the images out of his head from the night before.
"What was it she was trying to tell me?" He kept thinking to himself. He was so deep in thought, as he crossed Poplar street, he was nearly hit by a car. The tires screeching gave him a flashback to the day he saw Chloe across the street, and the truck. It sent shivers down his spine.
"Sorry!" He yelled out as he waved to the driver while he bolted over to the other side of the street. It was Mr. Carter. "Wow how embarrassing..." he muttered to himself.
"You're lucky I can still see, Jaden! You must have angels watching over you boy." Mr. Carter smiled as he yelled back. "Be careful son, I nearly learned that the hard way!" He chuckled as he drove off.
A couple blocks down the street, he heard a lady scream. Jaden froze in his tracks as an old air conditioner came crashing down just a few feet in front of him. He gasped in horror. "WHAT THE FUCK!?" He looked up to see a lady looking down out of her window from her apartment three stories above him.
"Oh my god, are you okay!?" She screamed. "I have no idea how that just happened! You must have a guardian angel watching over you!"
Jaden yelled back up to her, "Yeah, I'm okay. I think..." Still a bit stunned, he thought to himself. "Okay, this is a little too weird now, no way this is a coincidence. If that's you looking out for me today, Chloe, thank you. I'm not going to let anything stop me from getting to you."
Luckily, Cathy's 'office' was only a couple blocks away now. Even in that short time, he was nearly run into by a kid on a bike, had a stray dog try to bite him, and heard sirens heading towards him. But finally, he made it. He burst through the door, panting, completely out of breath with sweat dripping from his face.
Cathy was sitting at the old wooden table, with a look of dismay on her face as she stared at Jaden. "Oh my... I guess I should have warned you that there may be forces that will try to stop this from happening."
Jaden glared at her, looking a bit annoyed, "OH YA THINK?!" He blurted out, still trying to catch his breath.
"Well the important thing is that you made it here." She said reassuringly. "That is the first step. You definitely have someone watching over you, keeping you safe."
He walked over to the table. "Okay that is the third time I have heard that today. You think it might be Chloe?" He pulls out a chair and sits down sighing, finally catching his breath.
"I would say that is a good possibility. You two seem to have such a strong bond, she is probably always with you in some form or another." She turns toward him in her chair and grabs his hands. "Okay Jaden, I have to ask you one more time, are you sure you understand what we are about to do?"
