Chapter 8

(A/N would anybody possibly make me a cover for this story? Also i know it's been a long tike but i've got some more reads lately so i decided to update and i'll probably update again either tonight or when i wake up.)

I woke up early due to the fact my whole body was aching. I guess i fell asleep on the sofa last night watching videos. The thought of studying all day makes me want to stab my eyes with pins but i need to pass my exams. Atleast I'm seeing Ashton tonight although I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or not.

After taking a shower and getting some breakfast i got started on studying. A couple of hours later Emma text me saying she won't be back until tonight so i guess I'll have all day to dwell on my 'date' with Ashton by myself. If anyone else was in my position they would jump at the chance to go out with him right? Maybe I'm just worrying too much. Stupid Ashton distracting me from studying.

4.47. I might as well start getting ready since I'm just lounging around in pyjamas. I don't even know what to wear or where he's taking me. I don't want to text him so I'll just go casual. Thinking of texting he hasn't texted me all day, maybe he's forgotten about tonight? Just stop thinking and get ready.

I finally settled on a grey crew neck, leggings and my cherry Doc Martens as it's raining out. Typical. A little bit of foundation, mascara and eyeliner and I'm done, 5.53. Not bad. As if on cue my phone buzzes. Ashton "I'll be outside in 5 minutes, can't wait to see you xx". Atleast i know he's definitely coming.

After brushing my teeth i grab my bag and leather jacket and head outside to wait. Not long after Ashton pulls up and climbs out of the car walking over to where I'm stood under the shelter, there prince charming greets me with a peck on the cheek and opens up and umbrella from behind his back and walks me to the passenger side of the car.

Once he returns to the driver seat i turned to him with a smile, he grinned back at me. Those damn dimples.

"So where are we going? I hope you're not planning on driving me to the middle of nowhere and ditching me there in the rain"

"Too late now, you're already in the car, I'll let you keep the umbrella though" he replied with a smirk causing me to fake pout. In return he let out his childish giggle and pinched my cheeks. "I was kidding, you're too pretty to be rained on, i thought maybe we could just go back to mine and get some food and movies so you can chill out, the boys are out getting food and going to the cinema anyway so they won't be back until late, unless you wanna do something else if you think that's.."

"Ash relax, that sounds great. As long as we get to make a fort.." I trailed off with a childish grin.

He leaned across and gave me the most gentle peck on the lips and whispered in my ear "sounds like a plan". I'm sure he noticed the shivers that sent down my spine when he pulled back with a smug grin then proceeded to start the car.

The drive wasn't too long and it was mainly silent apart from the faint music playing and the rain hitting the windows. It wasn't awkward though. We kept stealing glances from each other thinking the other wasn't looking causing the both of us to blush. Even just being in his presence can cause anyone to be happy, this boy truly is a sunshine.
