You hummed a soft tune as you wandered through the crunchy snow, quietly making your way to the High School. No matter how old you were, you would always sing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' when you were lonely, which was quite often.
You were always by yourself. Your parents left you in South Park to live with your grandparents, who both died of heart attacks a couple years ago.
Even with the spring in your step, you felt defeated today. It was the anniversary of your grandparents death. Your parents refused to take you back, unable to support a child. So, you took care of yourself. You enrolled in High School on your own, and are now a Junior.
You sighed as you passed the large, towering estate where Token lived. He was just leaving to gate as you passed.
"Hey (Y/N)"
You did a sad hum in reply, then went back to Little Star. Token gave you a worried look.
You hung out with Token and his group of friends often. They were the only ones who thought you were normal, who thought that because you suffered, you were strong.
Cartman and his friends always laughed at you, calling you weak and worthless. You couldn't describe how much you wanted to kick that fatass in the nuts. But you held back, because anger kills. You can never do any good when your angry.
You felt an arm on your shoulder, and you looked to your left at Token.
"Are you okay?"
You shrugged his hand off, smiling slightly.
"I'm okay. Just... Sad, is all."
He sent you another worried glance before you continued humming. Soon, humming turned to singing.
"Twinkle, Twinkle, little star..."
"How I wonder what you are."
You look to see Token smiling at you.
"Up above the world so high..."
"Like a diamond in the sky."
Your singing was happier now.
"Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are."
He sang the last line with you. You smiled up at him and gave him a quick hug, blushing.
"Thanks Token"
You then ran off ahead of him, leaving Token with a blush on his face.
