I woke up the next day to the sound of voices, there were many more than usual. That's when I heard the smallest sound in the distance. Click! A camera, I thought, great... I went outside to see people everywhere. One blurry picture was shot as I shot myself into the forest canopy. I looked down and saw a little girl that was directly below me wandering into the dense trees. As I thought about what I should do, a loud bang went off and I fell into a large white flower. I don't remember anything that happened right after that, but I woke up with a gray, scale-like patch around my right eye. It was then that I remembered the girl that I had seen before I blacked out. I went up and into the trees, and after a while I found her mother asking the empty woods if it had seen her daughter. She repeated the word "hello?" many times over, but there was no answer. I climbed down the back of a tree and sat down between a pair of trees. I called to her as she passed by. As I did this, she jumped back in surprise. "You are one of those things that live here." She said with a bit of disgust in her voice. "That's a bit rude considering the fact that one of the members of your group fired a rifle into my eye," I remarked as I stood up, "you don't have guns fired into your eyes, do you?" "Are you going to help me or what?" I walked over to her and she clearly noticed my face. "I don't know," I said, "should I? You have so far done nothing but discriminate against both me and my kind, been rude to me, ask for nothing but your own personal needs, and tried to kill me with one of your projectile explosive weapons." "Do you guys get over stuff fast?" She asked. "Yes," I replied, "anyway, how does it feel to be alive?" "What?" "You know, how does it feel to not be dead?" I asked, "I don't exactly know how to interpret that feeling. It must make you feel complete inside because that's something I can't do anymore."
