My friend and I followed a few other people into the woods on the way home from school. As we walked through, it got darker when we went deeper into it. Then, out of nowhere, we turned and saw people all gathered around a patch of huge flowers. There was a fence that was getting finished as we came up to it. That was when I saw my mom, who was a police officer. The thing was, she was holding a gun, a big one. I heard a small rustling noise. My mom loaded and aimed her gun at a white flower. The flower opened up, and a girl peeked out from inside. A man tried to snap a photo of her, but she disappeared up a vine and into the trees before he could get a clear one. My mom looked closely at the canopy of tangled up tree branches through her scope and fired the rifle directly towards her. She dropped down all the way into a flower which caught her perfectly. Many people gasped as this happened and a few of them ran away. I waited until late at night when my mom left, but I spotted a thing that was out of the ordinary. Red liquid was on the ground under some of the flowers. It hadn't been there before so I got a bit curious. I then realized that I couldn't go over there. However, when I turned around, my mom was gone. I looked for her, but she was nowhere to be seen. I journeyed into the woods and found a small clearing. "Hello? I- Is anyone there?" I asked the empty forest, "I'm lost and I don't want to die out here!" I spotted the girl again and out of instinct, I took out a pocket knife and suddenly hurled at her. That's when she spoke.
