Well, I didn't find her mother, but I found something that was also quite interesting. As I came out of a dense patch of trees, I found a little metal human playing place. There were no children there because they were all in their beds this early in the morning. It was before dawn in the middle of the summer, it must have been early. I searched there, but nothing was to be found there. I walked back into the woods and realized that Rachel's mother could have followed one of us, that is a very human thing to do. I was walking through the trees and back to the flowers, but I noticed that there was a man who had another rifle. It was just like the one that had blinded me earlier, but then it hit me like an avalanche hits the valley ground. She used me, Rachel had used me to find us and find out our weaknesses. I was even double-blind, I had let it slip right past me all this time. I turned to climb the tree that led to my canopy, but I heard a piercingly loud sound and turned to see Aracia slam into the dirt 30 feet below where she had fallen from, on top of a flower. As she hit the ground, my entire body went cold, and I already knew she was going to be out for a very long while. The footsteps I heard meant that they were taking her away, and probably to some laboratory. She had a large hole in her back that was now covered in gray, scaly skin, just like my eye. They got in a vehicle and drove away. I went into my living space and drifted into a long sleep. I woke up the next day to hear a friend telling me to "get out of that flower!" We were running from the fact that the humans had decided to burn our home and try to take us. This is where I decide to put you down, book.
