Rebecca's Journey Taking a Toll

The beginning

Rebecca Langford. A beautiful girl with long brown hair, brown eyes and she is 13. Rebecca lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania along with some of her best friends. Rebecca is a shy person and only talks to her friends, but she has outrageous goals and expectations in life. Although she is 13, Rebecca knows what she wants to do. Becca, for short, wants to become a surgeon. She's played sports and goes to Edgewood Middle School, not far from her home. In 10 days Becca is taking a flight to Paris with her best friend Olivvia. Livv and Becca have been best friends since the beginning of elementary school and know everything about each other. They were both born on May 7th, 2003. Coincidence right? Livv and Becca have different plans in life and are hoping they make it through high school together. Then this happened....

-2:45 PM, saturday afternoon, July 15th, 2016-

Angela(Livv's mom): "Pam, have you told Becca about the move?"
Pam(Becca's mom): "No Ang., I don't know how to tell her.. I really don't want to break her heart, she's fragile and her and Livv have been through everything together! Are you sure this is the best thing to do?"
Angela: "Yes! I've discussed it with Olivia and she said that as long as she can see Rebecca every once in awhile she will be fine with it. Plus, they know how to work the new technology, they have face chat or whatever you call it!"

-5 minutes later-
*SLAM*
The front door shut hard and loudly. Angela and Pam were still whispering on the phone, knowing their daughters would be home at anytime. Becca stomps into the living room and plops down on the couch, pouting.
Pam: Ang. I gotta go, Becca is home now.

*inaudible*
"Hi sweetie! Glad you're home!"
"Mom what do you want! I'm busy, can't you see?" Becca yells furiously as she rages her way up the stairs and slams her door shut.
